CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY VILLA IN GRENADA WITH 200 FEET OF BEACH FRONT.

Kingfisher is the epitome of luxury and style in the Caribbean, built by its owner for his own family use on one of the most desirable bays in Grenada, with direct access onto a sandy beach.  Guests will enjoy wonderful amenities, including en-suite bedrooms, a swimming pool, a relaxation lodge and plunge pools - making this the villa of choice for discerning groups wanting the best for their holiday in the tropical sun.

Guests will arrive at Kingfisher along Turtle Back Drive, one of Grenada's most exclusive roads, then through electric gates to Kingfisher where you’ll find ample parking for a number of vehicles.  The main entrance leads into a beautiful main reception space, from which the kitchen, dining area and pool can all be accessed.  All of the bedrooms have king-sized beds and are in largely separate bungalows, each with en-suite facilities and linked to the main building by covered walkways.  Outside are beautifully maintained gardens and lawns, perfect for relaxing in between swims in the pool, bay or before an al-fresco dinner...Kingfisher really is the very best of escapes!

GROUND FLOOR: This luxury beach front villa is found down a quiet lane with 200 feet of beach front - all four bedrooms, en-suites and living areas are on the ground floor and are connected by a covered walkway.

VILLA LOUNGE:  A central area that is connected to all the rooms by a covered walkway and is perfect for relaxing, and seating up to 12.  In the lounge is a flat screen TV with cable.  This spacious lounge opens straight out to the pool and terrace, where there is a large covered entertaining area which at night can be candle-lit.  Beyond the pool is a Balinese gazebo and then a boathouse that overlooks the a small sandy cove and has a sunbathing platform.  The beach is a perfect place for water sports, and dive boats can be arranged to pick guests up here.

KITCHEN/DINING:  A quality European, modern designer kitchen with a fridge, freezer, ice maker, dishwasher, oven with grill, four-ring gas hob, microwave, washing machine, and a dryer.  This leads to an an alfresco covered dining area seating 12 and the Lombok teak table and there is also a corner sofa seating 6.

BEDROOM 1:  This large vaulted ceiling room is adjacent to the main pool area and has a super-king size bed and an en-suite shower room.  The bedroom has bi-folding French doors that open onto the veranda, which is furnished with a Lombok teak table and four chairs – there is also a private outdoor plunge pool.  In the room are matching bedside tables, a wood chest at the foot of the bed, a CD player with radio and a walk-in wardrobe that has both shelving and hanging space.  This bedroom has room for a cot to be set up in it for those with babies.

EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM: En-suite to Bedroom 1, this European shower room has a shower enclosure with a Grohe showerhead, an oversized mirror, ‘his and hers’ hand basins and a W.C.  Outside there is a private plunge pool.

BEDROOM 2:  A vaulted ceiling room with a king size bed and an en-suite shower room.  There is a private veranda with Lombok teak furniture including a table and four chairs  – there is also private outdoor plunge pool.  In the room are matching bedside tables, a CD player with radio and shelving and hanging space for clothes.

EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM: En-suite to Bedroom 2, this European shower room has a shower enclosure with a Grohe showerhead, an oversized mirror, ‘his and hers’ hand basins and a W.C. Outside there is a private plunge pool.

OUTSIDE:   The property is situated in a beautiful, entirely contained, child safe tropical garden – there are gates around both of the private dipping pools.  There is 200 feet of private beach frontage with a Balinese gazebo between the private pool and the beach and a boathouse with a sunbathing platform on the beach.  From the property there is a lovely ocean view over the landscaped gardens to the beach.
The private beach is nicknamed ‘Secret Cove’ and water sports can be done safely between the beach and the reefs that shelter the bay.  Hog Island, a sleepy anchorage, is a short boat ride away, a little further is Clake’s Bay, Calvigny Island, True Blue and Prickly Bay.
Three surf canoes are available for use.

The lovely Kingfisher Villa is situated in Saint George at the end of Turtle Back Drive in L’Anse Aux Epines, Grenada.  Point Salines International Airport and Grande Anse is only 10 minutes away.  There are a number of nearby restaurants such as Aquarium, Beach House, Carid Sushi, Coconut Beach, La Luna and Rhodes at Calabash which are all a short drive away and the nearest is within walking distance only a kilometer away.

There are shops to buy groceries in Prickly Bay, Waterside which is a five minute drive away and a super market at Spiceland Mall which is 10 minutes away.

All rental prices include bed linen and towels, gas, electricity and government taxes plus a welcome case of Carib and two bottles of wine to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

Transfers on arrival and departure and maid service twice a week are included.  There are two portable iPod docking stations (1 Bose), wireless broadband, flat screen TV in the lounge with satellite and cable TV, CD player with radios in the rooms, air conditioning in the bedrooms, a safe, a barbecue, games for all ages, stereo system, and books.  All the rooms in the villa have italian tiled flooring and the walkways and steps are purpleheart wood.

Many items are within the villa which will add to the vacation experience, including dozens of candles for arranging around the pool, Villeroy & Boch dinner service, bread maker, juicer etc.

There is a full catering service available for a fee including breakfast preparation, chef, and maid service. A laundry service is also available from the housekeeper.

A cot is available for your use.

Please note that although the property is all at ground level there are a few steps from walkways to rooms and from rooms to verandas.

Tipping the staff is very much appreciated and is recommended to be spread out through the stay.  This sets a positive atmosphere and reassures the staff that their service is appreciated!

A security deposit is required (advised on booking) - the villa contains many items, guests will be required to sign a 'checklist', breakages will be deducted from the security deposit. 3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
