This stylish Whitstable holiday cottage has fabulous sea views and is situated in the historic heart of this Kentish seaside town. Cushing's Walk was named after the film actor Peter Cushing who enjoyed the views from this part of Whitstable. This property, which is ideal for families or friends getting together, has been lovingly decorated with art such as an original painting by the highly regarded artist Ellen (Kuhn) Charap and signed prints by Mary Fedden. There is convenient parking and good local amenities. It is an ideal base from which to enjoy the famous sea food of Whitstable, explore the Kent coast or just sit back and relax in front of those views.

This Kent holiday cottage accommodation is on three floors, offering a spacious, well appointed and stylish interior. On the ground floor there is a hallway leading to a spacious living kitchen dining space with French doors opening out on to the courtyard garden, with the sea just yards beyond to the rear of the property. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, one with sea views and the family bathroom. Further up the stairs is the master suite with a king sized bed, a sitting area with far reaching sea views and a contemporary en-suite shower room.

GROUND FLOOR: Guests can enter the property either directly though the garden at the rear of the property from their two parking spaces into the living room, or from the street to the front into the hallway which leads through to the living space beyond.

SITTING / KITCHEN / DINING ROOM: This lovely space combines a stylish place to unwind with direct sea views. The high quality hand-made Shaker-style kitchen has a Rangemaster ‘Toledo 110’ cooker with two ovens, a food warming plate and 5 gas hob burners. There are honed granite work surfaces, a large Bosch fridge freezer, Bosch dishwasher, Bosch washing machine and a dryer. The sitting area has two sofas and French doors opening onto the pretty courtyard with the beach just beyond the car park, there is a contemporary dining table seating six, a Roberts Radio CD Player and iPod dock, a Sony flat screen TV and a Panasonic Blu-ray DVD recorder, the entire living area has solid white oak wood flooring.

FIRST FLOOR: From the ground floor hallway there is an angled set of stairs leading to the first floor landing which has doors to two of the bedrooms and the family bathroom.

BEDROOM 2: A large room with sea views and the flexibility to have either a super-king bed or two full size singles. In the room are two chairs positioned in front of the window with a coffee table for you to enjoy a morning coffee and the views of the sea, two matching bedside tables with lamps, a Sony flat screen TV and a large wardrobe with hanging space and drawers.

BEDROOM 3:  This room has the ability to be configured as either a super-king bed or two full size singles, the windows overlook the little street of Cushing’s Walk, there are matching bedside tables and lamps and a wardrobe with hanging and drawer space.

BATHROOM:  A luxury family bathroom with Fired Earth retro metro tiles and Villeroy and Boch fittings. There is a bath with a shower overhead, a hand basin and W.C.

BEDROOM 1:  A spacious room with vast sea views, a king size bed and an en-suite shower room. In the room are two chairs positioned in front of the window with a coffee table for you to relax and enjoy the views of the sea, two matching bedside tables with lamps, a Sony flat screen TV and a built in wardrobe.

SHOWER ROOM:  A luxury en-suite shower room with Fired Earth retro metro tiles and Villeroy and Boch fittings. There is a large shower 1500mm x 700mm, a hand basin and W.C.

OUTSIDE:  There is a delightful enclosed courtyard garden to the rear of the property that has seating for six – this is the perfect spot for a barbeque or an evening drink. There are two parking spots on the other side of the garden gates – a real asset in Whitstable!

Whitstable is a popular Kentish seaside town with an historic centre and several pretty beaches with colourful beach huts. The view from this Whitstable self catering accommodation is often dotted with sailing boats enjoying the seaside waters along the coast. Explore Whitstable's fishing harbour and fish markets or take a trip to Whitstable castle.
