CHIC SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION IN LONDON FOR COUPLES

This stunning ground floor apartment, which offers a double bedroom and magnificent living/kitchen/dining room, is part of a grand townhouse in the heart of Maida Vale and ideal for couples looking for a stylish apartment in the heart of Town, while enjoying all that London has to offer.  The owners of this apartment, successful photographers, have brought their sense of style to the stunning interiors, which feature some of their work...so our guests are in for a real treat!  The building also has a Blue Plaque to commemorate the artist, Edward Ardizzone, who lived at the property for many years.

Parking is available close to the apartment; from there you will enter into a shared lobby then into the property’s hallway, which connects all of the rooms.  There is a the double bedroom to the rear of the property, a bathroom and a large open plan living/kitchen/dining space. Maida Vale is on the Bakerloo line, just a five minute walk from the front door and so ideally positioned for exploring London's many attractions.

GROUND FLOOR:  From the pavement of Elgin Avenue guests will ascend a short set of steps to the covered entrance, through the front door where there is a shared lobby, and the door to the right is the apartment door - which leads into a central hallway.

LIVING/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM: This stunning open plan room has a grand feel, with high ceilings and showcases the owners’ great taste in design and décor.  To the front of the apartment is a sitting area which features a large open fire with one of the owner’s own photographs above the mantle, there is a large leather two-seater sofa and a day bed set in the bay window perfect for reading or relaxing in the sun, an LG 32 inch flat screen TV with FreeView channels, and a PS2, which can be used as a DVD player.  In the center of the room is a table with two chairs and the kitchen has wooden worktops, a Smeg electric range, a tall Liebherr fridge-freezer and a Siemens washing machine.

BEDROOM: The bedroom has a double bed, a beautiful ornamental fire place, a one-door wardrobe with two drawers, a bedside table on one side of the bed and a shelf on the other side of the bed.

BATHROOM:  This room has a bath, a heated towel rail, a hand basin, and a W.C.

OUTSIDE:   There is a wide, leafy street with a nice bistro pub only a short walk up the Avenue, with good food and outside seating.  There is pay and display parking on nearby streets. The nearest London Underground station is 'Maida Vale' on Bakerloo line, just a five minute walk from the front door.

London is the heartbeat of England!  There will be restaurants to cater to your every need, beautiful parks and plenty of performing arts to attend.  The buzzing atmosphere of London will leave you feeling charged and inspired.   Whether you like the daytime lazy atmosphere of the parks, the lively nightlife or the historic buildings and architecture there is a section of London to accommodate you!

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
