Hollyhedge Cottage, a beautiful, detached 17th-century cottage, is well situated in the quiet Norfolk village of Briston. With a welcoming living/dining room, featuring low original oak ceiling beams, and a crackling open fire, this cottage offers a wonderful base. You will also find a well-equipped kitchen for rustling up tasty dishes ready to enjoy at the dining table for four over a celebratory bottle of fizz, as well as a pleasant single bedroom served by a well-appointed bathroom, ideal for those with limited mobility. Ascend the steep stairs to two additional bedrooms, a lovely double and a twin, perfect for catching your rest after an adventure filled day. A charming, enclosed garden with two seating areas and a summerhouse is located outside, giving it the perfect place to relax in the sunshine, or indulge in a spot of alfresco dining courtesy of the barbecue. The village of Briston is home to a bakery, butcher, village shop, post office, and two pubs, the Explorers Bar and The Three Horseshoes. Charming seaside towns and villages are among the many attractions available in this region of Norfolk. The charming Georgian market town of Holt, with its local stores and fine restaurants, is only 4 miles from Briston. Explore the stunning North Norfolk coastline road a short distance from this property to go on boat tours to see the seals at Blakeney Point, go crabbing in the Wells-next-the-Sea harbour, or ride the steam train from Holt to Sheringham.
