“Great bolt hole an easy 20 minutes walk from the city centre.”
A super comfy terraced house with beautiful, arty decor and the luxury of 2 bathrooms, both with excellent showers, and 2 bedrooms with king-sized, very comfortable beds. We were a little concerned before visiting about the parking situation as it's street parking in a quite congested narrow road of terraced houses. But we never had any problems finding a place, usually right outside. The only issue would be if you wanted to leave your car in the street all day on more than one day as it's permit parking from 8am to 6.30pm and you are provided with a four-hour 'clock' pass, which covers you until noon, plus one day pass. I don't know if it's possible to get additional day passes, or how to do so if you can. Some clarification over the parking would have been appreciated but it didn't affect us as we were using the car on all but one of the days and the foru-hour permit is plenty to be able to have a morning in the city or browsing in the many antique shops in nearby Magdalen Street. We would definitely book again.
Hi David,
Thank you very much for the review and great to hear you had a good stay. As we are a new business it has taken some time to get the council to understand our requirements. That said, we have now received an unrestricted guest parking pass from the council which will allow guests to park all day.
Kind regards
