“Lovely location very peaceful.”

Fantastic to be able to use swimming pool and steam room. Very comfortable cottage. Noticed a microwave,however unable to find any microwaveable containers. Generally cleanliness was good,however small improvements could be made such as a wipe within the kitchen cupboards. Would certainly stay again and would recommend this to family and friends. A lovely relaxing break.

“The owners were very helpful and the property was very clean but the equipment was disappointing.”

When we arrived there were only 3 knives for a property that sleeps 4 and no wine glasses. The owners found us some more cutlery and glasses but the situation probably needs more closely monitoring. The baking tins were in a terrible state and there was only the bare minimum of saucepans. There appears to be very little hot water in the kitchen and there isn't even a hot water tap in the toilet - not ideal given that it is the only toilet. The property details referred to a low level hum from the pool pump which was fine - what was not mentioned was the near continual noise from the pool hot air heater. This, along with the noise travelling from the pool through the door that doesn't close properly, was very intrusive and caused us to cut our stay short. The owners have only recently taken over the property so it's possible that these issues will be addressed in time.
