    “Lovely spacious cottage, generally well equipped, in a quiet location ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle of normal daily life.”

    Commendably comfortable king-size bed. Deck over the pond a delightful feature. Hosts were helpful without being intrusive and this location is ideal for exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk. Would not hesitate in returning.

There is one double bedroom in the property with an en-suite bathroom, sleeping a total of two guests. There is also a cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility and a sitting room. Outside you can find off-road parking and a private garden with a patio, lawn and decking with furniture and a pond too. Waterloo Place Cottage makes an excellent choice for a rural, romantic escape.

Explore the man-made forest of Thetford just a short drive away boasting 18,730 hectares to explore, here you can find rich history in both Mildenhall Warren and Lynford Arboretum and popular walks amidst St Helen's, making a lovely day out to explore the beautiful outdoors. Bressingham Steam & Gardens is also within easy reach in Diss for the avid trainspotter, with plenty of steam engines and vehicles to see along its lush gardens, while the The Norfolk Tank Museum in Forncett St. Peter is also well-worth a visit.
