“Wonderful cosy cottage providing all the amenities needed for a weeks break.”

The garden was a sun trap and quiet haven with interesting old buildings in the local area. situation was ideal for visiting many places of interest including Sandringham, Walsingham and many seaside towns. Would certainly recommend a stay here.

It was fully equipped, extremely comfortable and situated in a very quiet spot in the town with off street parking. Cassie's cottage is a perfect base to explore north west Norfolk providing the ideal place to return to after a busy day out and relax. We would thoroughly recommend it and would be happy to stay again.

“Lovely cosy cottage in a quiet position but near to local facilities.”

Good parking. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Nice sunny little garden to sit with a coffee and listen to the birds. Lighting in bedrooms could be brighter and an extra lamp in sitting room. (to left of fireplace) would be useful when reading in the evening. We had a comfortable stay and cottage is in a good position to explore the surrounding area. Sandringham 10 mins drive ....beautiful gardens.

“We were very impressed with everything about the cottage.”

It is well positioned in the village, was well cleaned prior to our arrival and had excellent facilities. The cottage had character and was pleasant to come back to after a day out. We were lucky enough to have good weather (for March) and enjoyed sitting outside in the front garden with the sun on our faces. Heacham is a lovely little village with most things you could need. We hope to be back again soon and would recommend the village and the cottage strongly.

“Disappointed that one bedroom had no bedside lamp, An earlier review had mentioned this, so thought it would have been rectified.”

Both bedrooms would have benefitted with mirrors, as to use the hairdryer you had to use the landing mirror. Were surprised that the owners arrived on site to clean windows and do gardening before our departure time.!! However despite the disappointing weather we enjoyed the week in Norfolk with visits to Walsingham, Sandringham and Norfolk Lavender etc.

“Cassie's cottage was an excellent place to stay for our holiday in Heacham.”

It was obvious from the moment we arrived that the owners have very high standards. This could be seen immediately from the neat and well kept garden and general outside appearance. The high quality furniture and decoration inside was very impressive. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathroom was like that of a 5* hotel with little extras like toiletries provided and really lovely fluffy towels. The only one minor niggle was the lack of a bedside lamp in the bedroom I was sleeping in, although I was able to set up a sort of 'Health Robinson' affair with a little lamp I found in an upstairs cupboard! I was also extemely surprised, but delighted to find we'd been supplied with a lovely Port Merrion dinner service even down to the matching caddies and a double oven that looked brand new. The owners really do seem to have thought of everything. The cottage's location also afforded us a village centre location, which was so conveinient and a rare treat for us. It was close to the beachs and local attractions. Although we like to visit a lot of places around the country, I would have no hesitation at highly recommending this cottage to anyone looking to stay this side of Norfolk.

The cottage itself was spotless and well equipped - a real credit to its owners. The Bushell and Strike pub (5 mins walk) is family friendly with a good selection of food and drink - well worth a visit. We will be back.

“This is a really nice well equipped cottage.”

Comfy beds and the kitchen was particularly good. The only downside and this is not a complaint are the low doorways. My husband is 6 feet tall and I am 5 feet 10 and we both banged our heads a few times. Apart from that we had a lovely time. We really liked the traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton which is only a couple of miles away.

we ate out most days but the kitchen had everything if you wanted to stay in and cook a meal. We where there it was very hot especially at night my daughter brought her electric fan which helped. It would have been a good idea if a fan was available in the cottage in the summer months also a phone doc so if you wanted to listen to your own music you could. He’s ham is a quiet village 3 pubs which 2 if them do food the 3rd is going to start serving food soon I would recommend this place to stay if you don’t want the hussle and bussle of a busy village this is very quiet.

Cassie's Cottage is a cosy, two bedroomed mid terraced cottage which sleeps four people in two double bedrooms. Also within the holiday home is a shower room, a fitted kitchen with dining table and a lovely sitting room. To the outside is a large courtyard with garden furniture and secure off road parking. Being located just a few minute's walk from the local amenities, Cassie's Cottage is a superb base from which to discover this delightful area of North Norfolk. Please note there is a step down from the lounge to kitchen area with another step up to the sink area. There are also two steps from the landing to the main bedroom and a step from the landing to the bathroom.

HEACHAM

Hunstanton 2.5 miles; King's Lynn 15 miles.

Heacham is a large village located on the West Norfolk coastline, on The Wash, boasting a lovely family friendly sandy beach, ideal for jet skis, kitesurfing and windsurfing. The village has many cottages built from Carstone, which is a feature of this part of Norfolk, and also offers a good range of shops, restaurants and country pubs. Within walking distance is Caley Hall, home to Norfolk Lavender with its sweet smelling lavender fields, and Heacham Hall, owned by John Rolfe, who brought his young bride Pocahontas to England to live at the hall (in the local church of St Mary you will find a memorial to her). This part of Norfolk is renowned for its abundance of birdlife throughout the year, with several local RSPB sites, while within easy driving distance is Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Gardens, as seen on BBC's Springwatch. Nearby Hunstanton offers traditional seaside entertainment including a sealife centre, while The Queen's Sandringham Estate is just a 15 minute drive.
