“On arrival at the property we gained access through the side door first impression of the property were good, after I unpacked I noticed the upstairs shower was quite stained around the edges which didn't look good.”

Our first evening was quite eventful we sat down to watch the TV which was a good size television only to notice a mouse running around the room after around 10 minutes I managed to let the mouse out through the patio doors. As far as the appliances ie : Oven, fridge, microwave they were very good the kitchen table was excellent size ,in the lounge the seats were very comfortable. Overall the property was fairly good my only other criticism is we should have been made aware there was building ...

Overall the property was fairly good my only other criticism is we should have been made aware there was building work next door to be fair to the builders they didn't start to early and finished at a reasonable time. I would book again because it is still a nice property and makes a excellent base to explore Norfolk.

About the location

HEACHAM

Hunstanton 2.5 miles; King's Lynn 15 miles.

Heacham is a large village located on the West Norfolk coastline, on The Wash, boasting a lovely family friendly sandy beach, ideal for jet skis, kitesurfing and windsurfing. The village has many cottages built from Carstone, which is a feature of this part of Norfolk, and also offers a good range of shops, restaurants and country pubs. Within walking distance is Caley Hall, home to Norfolk Lavender with its sweet smelling lavender fields, and Heacham Hall, owned by John Rolfe, who brought his young bride Pocahontas to England to live at the hall (in the local church of St Mary you will find a memorial to her). This part of Norfolk is renowned for its abundance of birdlife throughout the year, with several local RSPB sites, while within easy driving distance is Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Gardens, as seen on BBC's Springwatch. Nearby Hunstanton offers traditional seaside entertainment including a sealife centre, while The Queen's Sandringham Estate is just a 15 minute drive.
