“This was a lovely, comfortable cottage, which really had all the home comforts.”

Great location to get to the beach, and the dog-friendly pub, literally round the corner was a bonus. Owners left a lovely Welcome Basket - which included a pint of milk (always a plus). Loved the high quality textiles and blinds, and the bed was really comfortable, which frankly should be a priority for all owners. Had a couple of questions for the owners, which were answered promptly. In all, a lovely, cosy, comfortable long weekend. My only gripe - and this is actually across the board ...

My only gripe - and this is actually across the board for all cottages - whilst checking in at 4pm was ok for covid with the longer cleaning time needed, I have noticed that few owners have gone back to the 2/3pm check-in times, or don't even allow you to request an early check-in. I think being flexible on check-in, if the cottage is ready, would be an added bonus.
