    “The property itself was lovely, and clearly well maintained.”

    Apart from the need to acquire a small sharp kitchen knife, it had everything, and the television did work sufficiently for our needs, in spite of earlier reviews to the contrary. Unfortunately cold weather and northerly winds limited the amount of walking that we could do, which was the main point of our trip. For anyone who wanted a lie-in, it would not be suitable given the regular low flying aircraft every morning from 8am.

Enter this neutrally decorated cottage and head left into the welcoming sitting room, a warming spot to kick back and relax after exploring the stunning Norfolk Coast AONB. Step through into a modern kitchen/diner, well-equipped and furnished delightfully, while adjacent to this is a peaceful lean-to porch with a cosy armchair, an ideal spot to sit and read a book or enjoy your morning coffee. The first floor of Howards Hill West plays host to two comforting bedrooms; a double which has beautiful sea views out of the window, and a twin bedroom are served by a fresh family bathroom offering a shower over the bath. To relax outside, step out into the back garden where you can enjoy a refreshing drink with the sea breeze to accompany you. A short stroll will lead you into this charming seaside town, it boasts a wealth of charming amenities along with its renowned clifftop pier and wonderful sandy beach to make the most of. The whole of beautiful Norfolk beckons from here, you can easily explore the astounding Norfolk Coast AONB, the countryside of the Norfolk Broads and the wonderful city that is Norwich. For an alternative day at the beach, head to the ever-popular resort of Great Yarmouth, offering much for the visitor to see and do. Explore the fabulous area of Norfolk from this homely terraced cottage.

The popular North Norfolk seaside town of Cromer is known for its wonderful clifftop promenade, with attractive, colourful gardens and seating areas ideally placed for enjoying the stunning panoramic views over the sea. Cromer has a lovely, sandy Blue Flag beach where both children and adults can spend hours building sand castles, swimming, sunbathing or investigating the tidal pools in search of interesting sea creatures, which include young Cromer crabs. Cromer is proud of its beautiful Victorian pier, offering theatre shows, a museum and an RNLI lifeboat station, which is open to visitors and where you can learn about Cromer’s long lifeboat history. The town centre offers a variety of shops, cafés, restaurants, public houses and amusements, while local golf courses can be found at Cromer, Sheringham and West Runton. This part of North Norfolk offers many places of interest to visit, including the National Trust’s Sheringham Park and Felbrigg Hall, both enjoying wonderful woodland areas for walks and picnics, along with the Norfolk Shire Horse Centre, Amazona Zoo and the Hilltop Outdoor Adventure Centre.
