Philip and Michelle are excellent hosts and offered helpful suggestions of where to go. They also left welcoming gifts which were much appreciated and a wonderful touch.
However, the listing made reference to a small metal bbq at the property, which wasn't available. Although not a biggie, this is something we were planning to use.
Only criticism, which would benefit other guests in the kitchen, is sharper knives to help with food prep.
On the whole, we loved the property and would definitely visit again in the future.
I am so sorry regarding the lack of BBQ. We recently removed a 7 metre tall elder tree from the small back yard as the dropping berries were staining the patio slabs. and when we did so we removed all the furniture including the BBQ to prevent any damage from falling tree limbs. I had it in the back garden to be cleaned and forgot to return it. I can only apologise for this error. We also have a brick built BBQ in our back garden which we would have happily let you use and if you come back in future please ask us if anything is at fault. Thank you for the feedback regarding the knives we will ensure there is a sharpener in the kitchen for future guests
