    “Such a lovely lodge with the stunning view of the sea.”

    Few salad bowl,s would of been good in the kitchen other than that everything else was all good. We arrived when it was dark and was very difficult to find the lodge as it had no number also no lights in the site so made it more difficult no 14 helped us by giving a torch a big thankyou to no 14. Everthing was all clean heaters were set to automatic as we walked in it was lovelly and warm shops were near by we have had a peacefull new year and will be back at some point thankyou to the owners ...

North Walsham 6 miles; Cromer 14 miles; Norwich 18 miles.

Walcott is a lovely coastal village that sits right in the middle of the Norfolk coastline, with many small and friendly coastal villages nearby; Bacton where the ruins of Bromholm Priory and Bacton Woods can be found, Happisburgh with its impressive lighthouse, and Mundesley with its fine sandy beaches are to name but a few. The name Walcott is derived from the Celtic word Walecote, which means "village by the wood". It is an ideal place for walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, bird watching or simply relaxing and enjoying the many views. Walcott is also a great location for exploring the beautiful scenery of the Norfolk coast, as well as the famous Norfolk Broads. Further inland there are plenty of famous National Trust properties to visit, such as Blickling, Felbrigg and Holkham Halls, or why not visit the historic city of Norwich, with its beautiful Norman Cathedral and Castle, and of course spend your money in the many shops, pubs and restaurants on offer.
