    “Lovely surroundings, peaceful and private.”

Owners very pleasant but dismissive when problems raised-loss of TV reception and lack of iplayer. No housekeeping mid fortnight ie clean bedding and towels. A good property in need of general upgrade. Lack of home comforts-soft furnishings, bed and bedding old and worn(we purchased our own, something we've never had to do!) Towels, poor quality(Primark). Cooker needs deep cleaning, dirty hob and hood. Pots, pans and cutlery poor. Toilet seats loose, one bolt rotted and seat came off! Price paid ...

Price paid does not reflect value unlike your other properties where we have stayed. Would not recommend this property.

Thank you for your comments As I explained I cannot give you my personal login and password details for the iPlayer and I certainly was not dismissive. This is the DPA. You raised no concerns to me while you were at the property as I would have addressed any issues you may have had. The only thing you enquired about was a change of sheets as you stayed two weeks I explained this was not the norm as it’s a holiday let and we do not enter the property whilst guests are there you said no problem. I double checked this with the agents who advised you should have requested this service four weeks before arrival. The bedding sheets are an actually new Dorma so I’m not sure why you are stating they are poor quality actually the cleaner brought to my attention the bottom sheet was stained with dog paw prints when she changed the bed and the bottom sheet had to be disposed off. Both the bathroom and cloakroom were newly installed this year so all new. The bed is new and the bedroom has recently been painted. We pride ourselves on maintaining the property. As you know and can see from all my other reviews I am very approachable and would have sorted anything for you if you had made me aware of it. I’m sorry you feel the need to make these unnecessary comments online. I did check with you as I do with everybody that you were happy and everything was ok and you said it was ! I cannot sort a problem if you don’t make me aware of it whilst you are there. Best wishes for the future. Toni Property Owner

About the location

LITCHAM

East Dereham 9 miles; Swaffham 9 miles; Fakenham 11 miles.

Litcham is a traditional, rural Norfolk village with one pub (The Bull Inn), a local cafe, a combined post office and convenience store, and a fish and chip shop. The beautiful village church, with its prominent square tower, dates back to the 12th century, though it was rebuilt to a great extent in the 15th. Litcham and the surrounding villages in the parish (particularly Beeston and Tittleshall) have a busy events calendar. Litcham Common, officially a Local Nature Reserve for over 20 years, is superb for nature lovers, bird-watchers and particularly walkers, as it sits on the Nar Valley Way, which runs all the way from East Dereham to King's Lynn. The three local towns of East Dereham, Swaffham and Fakenham are all about 10 miles away, providing access to a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants.
