    “Smelt like nursing homes.”

Both showers not working properly. Door step to kitchen a trip hazard. Whole down stairs filthy and felt unable to eat in the property. Cupboards full of partly used bottles ecg. Not able to plug hairdryer in and sit at dressing table. No blinds down stairs so lack of privacy. Never heard such noisy heating before. Outside area totally unkempt. Appears as if acquired from a death and let as is. I gave one star for good area but will not go again or recommend.

Dear guest, Im sorry you were not satisfied with your stay but I have found your comments to be somewhat disappointing. As we use the house regularly for family & friends we do leave some condiments and non-perishables in the house for anyone to use. There are 3 bathrooms in the property - 2 of which have recently had new showers and the 3rd was replaced the week after you stayed. I myself stayed in the property the week after you and they appeared to be working well and the house was certainly clean & did not smell. In fact we employed new cleaners less than 6 months ago and have checked on their work since & not had any concerns. We are aware that some of the furnishings and carpets need updating and will be doing this over the next year as time & finances allow however there are blinds & curtains in all of the street facing downstairs rooms so Im unclear why you could not find them. Our aim is to keep the property family friendly and price it as such so I am sorry if this did not suit your requirements. Property Owner
