It's our second stay there and it has all you could possibly want! The owners Ann and Terry are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We love it there and hope to revisit in the future. We highly recommend this property!

About the location

BRESSINGHAM

Diss 2.5 miles; Thetford 13 miles.

The charming village of Bressingham has a shop, pub and local church. There are also several footpaths providing easy walks amongst the typical Norfolk landscape. Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens continues to delight thousands of visitors every year. Boasting over five miles of narrow-gauge steam railway, the famous Victorian 'Gallopers' and the official Dad's Army exhibition, as well as acres of beautifully kept gardens, Bressingham offers something for all the family. Picnics are a popular option in the lawned areas, or there are two restaurants to choose from. The site is a mecca for steam fans, with a choice between the Garden Railway, the Nursery Railway or the Waveney Valley Railway. The nearby, picturesque village of Diss is a must-visit for anyone interested in nature, history or architecture. Nestled in the countryside of the Waveney Valley, it offers a delightful array of speciality shops and eating places, together with a traditional lively market every Friday and a farmers’ market on the second Saturday of each month, selling local produce.
