Brundall is a large village on the banks of the River Yare in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. The village is famous for boat building and it is a centre for boat hire. The village is home to a number of shops, bars and restaurants and has a railway station on the Norwich to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft line. Just eight miles from Brundall is the magnificent city of Norwich. Norwich boasts some of the finest buildings in Britain, with two cathedrals, a Norman castle and several large houses. Elm Hill is one of the oldest streets in Norwich, with beautiful cobblestones and Tudor houses, some now home to independent shops.
