“The property was situated in a lovely area however on arrival whilst trying to sort hot water the fridge had to be moved there was lots of dirt & food under it.”

Freezer also needed defrosting, oven also needed a clean. Starter log pack lasted 1hour not the stated 4-5 hours. A warning should be given about door/ ceiling height. Hot water temperature was extremely dangerous. There were also lots of cobwebs. The locals were lovely which made up for the disappointment of the cottage. We've previously stayed in a Sykes cottage in Cumbria which was excellent all round we naively believed they would all be of the same standard when rated equally.
