“This is the third time we have stayed at The Dingle and we have booked a fourth visit.”

The overriding reason is it's superb location . 5 mins from the sea and the same for the town. The size of the property, sleeping 7 with plenty of space. It is however, a very quirky set up with only en suite upstairs and no other bathroom upstairs. This suits us. There are these facilities downstairs. When we first visited the house it was very dirty and grubby. This has definitely been addressed and as this is a contract cleaning company it does lack that personal touch and whilst the house is clean there is an underlying sense of the grubbiness still there. It needs a deep clean. The sofas, this time with some underwear found, the dirt under them, the tissues and rubbish in the bedrooms in the corners. This should be cleaned . There are still weeds in the conservatory and some crockery is grubby , however, this is only the fault of guests not washing things properly. There is a great D/W. There is still a dangerous lampshade that really needs replacing although there are new lamps, in the bedrooms. The broken fridge door proved difficult as the fridge has much less space, no oven gloves. We suspect the roof still leaks as the heating was on 30 when we arrived and the sofa bed cushions drying against radiators. This sofa bed is so uncomfortable and as last year not fit for purpose. The things that need addressing are the sofas, very low and not for the elderly or infirm. The zips are broken and the sofas now are at the end of their life. The dining room chairs, as last year like sitting on a plank of wood. There have been a few welcome additions. New mugs, a clean oven now, very welcome, new lamps. This is an old house , I suspect much loved. The beds are very comfortable , parking good, garden well kept and secure, heating good all be it how to work it is a mystery still, a great welcome pack. Perhaps with a few big things addressed such as sofas and chairs this property would be more attractive for some. Regardless of the negatives which really are to help improve it I suspect it's appeal is always the location and size.
