The Annexe

It felt like home from home.

Lovely, friendly host, Sarah. The Annex had all the facilities I needed in a comfortable setting. Location wise it was perfect and in easy reach of Holt, Blakeney, Wells-next-the-sea and Holkham. I would definitely recommend the Annex.

Lovely, warm welcome from hosts, Graham and Sarah who were very attentive.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. A great location and will definitely visit again.

Overall accommodation too small.

Living room quite limited with poor eating area (a small table against the wall). No diswasher or washing machine in an adequate kitchen area/entrance hall. Some photos on the Sykes' website were very flattering. Fans were provided but not very effective. Owners made us feel very welcome, but no "welcome pack" which was disappointing and unusal in our experieince of renting cottages. The high cost was not good value in comparison with other cottages we have stayed in. Outside sitting area was in a corner next to the refuse bins, and not an attraction. Finally a pleasant area to stay in.

Ideal location for visiting north Norfolk coast and surrounding area.

The place was much smaller than we expected, even from the photos, and some aspects were awkward to the older visitor, e.

g. working the oven/microwave. Storage was inadequate, we had to put our cases in the cat Hosts were friendly and helpful

As our ratings show it was a lovely place and the hosts were very nice would recommend the annexe to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property.

The Annexe is modern, well heated and spacious for two people. Access is easy and has parking right outside the door. We used all the facilities, cooked meals and used the internet etc. The hosts contacted before arrival and met us on arriving. Showing us around and meeting Chewie, our small dog. Using the microwave cum combination over does require reading the instructions but was otherwise easy to use. The village setting is quiet and the sky is dark at night for stargazing. It's a great location for visiting Noth Norfolk.

We stayed at The Annex for a week over the 2025 Christmas period.

The property is clean, comfortable and well presented with good quality furnishings. Excellent WI-Fi, decent lights to read by and lovely and warm. The cottage is situated in an excellent position for visits around North Norfolk. Thursford Christmas show (on the doorstep) is the best show I’ve been to for years. Graham met us to welcome us to the cottage and explained how everything works Graham and Sarah had also put some lovely Christmas decorations around for us. The cottage itself is all you could need, and is in a lovely quiet location being set back off the main village road however there is a yappy dog lives somewhere behind the cottage that does get a bit annoying- may belong to someone visiting just for Christmas as no-one else has mentioned it.

It's was an amazing place to stay.

Very central to so many location like Wells and Cromer. Sarah and Graham were very welcoming and assisted us with our stay. All the amenities in the Annexe have been meticulously thought out. Perfect for a couple with one pet. You are away from the main road so traffic noise is non existent. We will definitely be returning next year.

Lovely clean and well presented cottage ,great base to visit all of north norfolk most places within 30 -45 drive , excellent owners nothing was to much trouble made us feel very welcome .

Located close to coast and there is so much to do. The owners Sarah and Graham were both so nice and helpful. Would recommend and would be lovely to go back.

We had a wonderful stay, everything was exactly as described.

Graham and Sarah were the perfect hosts and made our visit truly enjoyable. The accommodation was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The location is ideal for exploring the Norfolk coast, with plenty of lovely dog walks right from the doorstep. We would definitely recommend and hope to return!

We had a lovely few days at Sarah and Graham’s Annexe.

It was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and extremely peaceful.

The property was cleverly planned to fit a small space.

We found it cosy and well equipped. However, we struggled with the small double bed which was also quite soft. It was also a bit disappointing that there were no facilities for recycling. This property is well placed for a peaceful holiday where many attractions are within easy reach.

The Annexe was very comfortable ,lovely shower ,comfy bed in a super location very peaceful .

The Annexe is in an ideal position for all the great places we love to visit in Norfolk and we will definitely be back .Thankyou to the lovely friendly owners we had a lovely holiday .

Compact & bijou, a perfect place to stay & explore the North Norfolk coastline.

We were well looked after, with everything we needed in our accommodation for a couple, and we had our small dog with us, who was also thoughtfully catered for. There was a lovely small menagerie of animals in the host’s garden, so if you’re booking with your dog, would advise they are well behaved.

Great base for us visiting national trust places.

very quite good nights sleep. Down side Kitchen very small other than a fridge no where to store food.

Pretty little cottage in a great area for exploring the north Norfolk area.

Spotlessly clean and well appointed. The bed is extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and close by if you need anything. We had a very peaceful, relaxing weekend staying there.

This holiday cottage is brand new and spotlessly clean.

It is small and snug, very warm. The helpful and friendly owners live in the adjoining house and were very prompt to show us how appliances worked and to respond to any problems. We also appreciated their white-and-tabby cat who joined us one morning after breakfast! The location is a good jumping-off point for visiting the north Norfolk area.
