“Great location with just a short drive to everywhere we wanted to visit .”

The park itself is very clean and well kept . The chalet was well priced , dog friendly , and in a very quiet area which was perfect for us . The chalet had everything we required . There is a fish and chip shop across the road , serving the best cod , a small shop next door and a pub around the corner selling reasonable food . The owner must live nearby as any issues were sorted in a very short time , for which we thank him . So all in all , a very good relaxing stay .

“The weather was dreadful but we were happy Cosy and warm.”

Lots of little touches made our stay enjoyable from fresh coffee -condiments cotton wool in the bathroom even two dog bowls the cosy trows were a lovely touch whilst watching TV.

“On arrival to the chalet we were greeted with a filthy, uncleaned chalet; dirty bed linen, sink full of washing up, fridge and microwave full of rotting food, nasty smell from kitchen area.”

We contacted Sykes who contacted the owner and the owner said they'd been in and cleaned it ready for us. I'd hate to have seen it before it was cleaned!

“On arrival my had to dust shelves in the bedrooms before putting clothes in,although small oil filled rads were provided no where to plug them in , electrical wiring was not to electrical regulations ie.”

No indication of pat testing on electrical appliances ,twin socket for tv fed another socket opposite via a cable in caping and under sized ,no cooker,bed side lights to dim to read by. In summing up very disappointed.

“This was a typical family chalet by the sea,children's rides etc.”

nothing much h for adults unless you want bingo and slot machines. Dogs have to be kept on a leads, to get to the sea because of the erosion the only way to the beach is a 10 to 15 minute walk.The site is clean well maintained the chalet not so much but is passable for a week.There is no WiFi ,water is very slow ,I took the dog out and left tap in bath running it was barely ready when I got back.

The east Norfolk village of Hemsby is split into two parts, Hemsby village and Hemsby Beach. The village offers two stores, two pub/restaurants, a hairdresser's, a number of takeaways and a regular bus service to Great Yarmouth. Beach Road leads you approximately one mile to the area known as Hemsby Beach, with a variety of cafés, restaurants and takeaways, various amusement arcades, children's funfair rides, and traditional seaside shops.
