    “Cottage is lovely, we found parking fine as long as someone can spot you getting out onto road.”

    Has everything you need in kitchen -except a microwave. Very clean and tastefully decorated. (Only problem was next doors big dog kept escaping into garden which wasn’t ideal.) Would definitely like to have it again but Sykes is a nightmare to get in touch with on holiday, no response to several emails or WhatsApp so had to phone which cost a fortune on roaming charges.

    Thank you for the positive comments and i hope you can return in the future. To address the other points raised, for future reference: The top oven is also a microwave. It can be selected via the control panel. The instructions can be found in the folder containing the appliance manuals. The neighbours do have dogs which are very closely supervised and they have never accessed our garden before. We were mortified, as were our neighbours, to hear that this occurred and they have now found and blocked the gap which their dog had found following some work they recently had done in their garden. I have passed on the comment to Sykes regarding their lack of response. However I believe you can message us, the owners, via the customer portal and our housekeeper usually leaves contact details in the guest folder in case of an emergency Property Owner
