Description

Cosy Cottage is a charming, single-level retreat nestled in the peaceful Norfolk village of North Elmham.

Once the local doctor’s surgery, it has been thoughtfully renovated to offer a stylish and comfortable getaway for two.

You’ll find convenient off-road parking, and as you step inside, a welcoming porch provides space to leave your shoes and coats.

The heart of the home is a beautifully decorated open-plan living area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

The kitchen is tucked into one corner, fully equipped for preparing delicious meals.

Enjoy a romantic dinner at the dining table, then take your drinks out to the patio to soak up the evening sun.

Unwind in the pleasant lounge with a film on the TV and the warmth of the woodburning stove.

When it’s time to rest, the elegant double bedroom offers a boutique-style escape, complete with an art-deco flair and a sleek en-suite shower room.

Just a short stroll from the cottage, the village offers a lovely tea room for breakfast and two welcoming pubs, including the award-winning Brisley Bell.

A local convenience store is nearby for any essentials or treats.

For days out, the Mid-Norfolk Railway offers scenic rides and seasonal events, while adventure seekers can enjoy water sports at the Norfolk Lakes Activity Centre.

The historic city of Norwich is within easy reach, offering gardens, museums, and even an outdoor ski slope.

Or head north to the Norfolk Coast for beach days, seal spotting, and classic fish and chips.

Cosy Cottage is the perfect setting for a romantic countryside escape.

The little cottage is lovely.

Perfect for a couple. The owner met us when we arrived and we had a chat about the area and he was lovely and friendly. The cottage had everything that we needed. The bed was snug and comfy. The log fire looked nice too and I was desperate to use it but the weather was still too warm so we had to imagine what it might have looked like! The owner had put together the best pack with information about places to visit which was super helpful. The local area was great too with a delicious pub and cafe within walking distance.

Cosy cottage is a comfortable place to stay.

The driveway entrance could prove difficult in a larger vehicle, but the off street parking and outside seating area are greatly appreciated. The cottage is nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and large walk in shower. A good location for exploring north west Norfolk and Norwich. North Elmham is a quiet village, with a well stocked shop and a pub close by, which serves food. A second pub and fish and chip shop are a little further away.

Cosy Cottage is comfortable, clean, well equipped and ideal for two in a lovely quiet and peaceful area.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would recommend the Kings Head pub for evening meals and the cafe in the village for breakfast, both within easy walking distance of the cottage. We would love to come back again sometime.
