“We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Chapel - it's a lovely property, well furnished and cosy.”
Very quiet surroundings and the lovely welcome gifts were much appreciated. However, there were a few things that we feel could be improved:
- The dishwasher door doesn't open properly as it catches on the fridge as it is opened, which makes it difficult to use the dishwasher.
- The tap in the en-suite doesn't turn off fully so it is constantly dripping/running.
- The door to the en-suite doesn't close very easily.
- The blinds in the second and third bedroom do not block out the light ...

- The blinds in the second and third bedroom do not block out the light very well and curtains are needed.
- The garden looks uncared for - there are weeds, a broken planter and bird droppings, which could be easily removed. It felt as though the front and back outside areas needed a good sweep and a clean.
- The sauna was broken so we couldn't use it, which was disappointing. Although we were informed on our first day that this was out of use, we were told a part was on its way and they were hoping for it to be delivered on our day of arrival and therefore they would get somebody out to repair it. However, we had no further updates to this and therefore the sauna was not fixed during our one week stay.
We still enjoyed our stay and used it as a base to explore Norfolk. However, the house does appear to need some maintenance and attention so we probably wouldn't stay again.
