Ivy Barn

The cottage was perfect in every way, spotlessly clean and everything needed for the holiday.

It was nice to know that the owners were close by in case anything was needed but we had everything we wanted for the perfect holiday. Whenever we saw the owners we always got a friendly wave and a good morning or afternoon. We would recommend the cottage to everyone and we would hope to be going back in the near future.

Beautiful detached cottage with an enormous garden and beautiful rural views.

Quiet area with lovely walks along the lanes from the doorstep and it is well positioned to drive to Norwich, Wroxham and the Broads as well as the coast. The cottage is really well appointed and is fantastic value. This place is certainly highly recommended.

We had a relaxing stay at Ivy Barn.

It’s a lovely rural location and a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. There’s plenty of outdoor space to sit and read or enjoy a drink. There’s everything you need if you wish to cook for yourself, but with the nearby pub (about a 25 minute walk) serving food all day including breakfast we chose not to cook.

Lovely accommodation, clean and well equipped.

Our young daughters loved playing in the big garden too. We look forward to coming back again.

Everything we needed in the kitchen too. Bedrooms were comfy though felt the main bedroom needed a dressing table. Shower was lovely to use. Really nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Great accomodation in a quiet lovely spot in rural Norfolk, with up to date furnishings, a modern kitchen and bathroom - all with super views.

We were able to visit many interesting places in the county incl. some great country pubs, and the local ( The Parson Woodbridge ) is only 3 miles down tthe road. A lovely holiday in a super location and all on the ground floor GREAT - and The owners David and Kim lived nearby and were available if help was needed -- so TOTAL relaxation

The accommodation was very comfortable and the hosts Kim and David could not have been more helpful. It was lovely waking up and seeing the wild life in the garden. Hopefully we will return.

Very friendly owners David and Kim who live next door if needed. We had a great few days and plan to return the next time we visit our friends in Norwich. A pub just a mile down the road in Weston Longville (The Parson Woodforde) is worth a visit for food. Nick and Julie (Lincolnshire)

Kim and David messaged us before our arrival, reminding us of the code to get the key and telling us to get in touch should we need anything.

We met them both the morning after we arrived and they were both so lovely and welcoming. The surroundings are beautiful and we would recommend Ivy Barn to everyone as a perfect place to stay.

I stayed at Ivy Barn for two nights with my sister and our girls (aged four and six).

It's the perfect base for exploring Norfolk and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It has a really well-equipped kitchen - some essential supplies were also included which was thoughtful and very much appreciated. We found the property straightforward to find with plenty of space to park directly outside. Communication with the owners was easy and they were responsive, kind and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate in booking again if we return to this part of Norfolk. Thanks again for a great stay!
