Perfection!

Gorgeous cottage in a gorgeous location, next to everything you need! Second time visiting, ‘Little Wash’ and have booked us up for next year too! Meg and Sally have made this cottage a home away from home. Everything you need and more is provided. The back garden is a lovely place for morning coffee and croissants and it also provides good shade later in the evening when the sun was still incredibly hot! Sally gave me suggestions of places to visit when I rang for the key code and every place she told me about was amazing. Loads of gorgeous antique places, for example in Snettisham. Reasonable but very tasty places to eat, for example cafe opposite the RNLI life boat, and lots of shops with fab clothes and gifts. What was so good is that the cottage is only 5-15mins away from all of these venues. We had the best fish and chips from ‘Elliot’s fish truck’, based on the promenade just below the Green but they sell out quickly as they are the best. Can’t wait to get back to the wonderful Little Wash!

Little Wash Cottage was a perfect location for a couple of octogenarians - whilst we can still manage stairs.

The cottage was well-equipped both upstairs and down and the beds and chairs were comfortable. This year we decided against cooking our meals in the cottage, but our previous experience was that the cooking facilities were very good. The cottage was well situated, just out of the town, but only a short walk to the shops and cafes of Hunstanton.

Very well maintained and equipped. The hosts are always helpful and are very communicative. Have returned here on a number of occasions and will return again in the future

The cottage has an excellent position in Hunstanton, being only a few minutes walk from the Prom but also very close to all amenities.

It’s also in a very quiet street. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very well appointed, comfortable and always warm. It was a pleasure to come back to after a day out and felt like a home from home. We had one small problem, of our own making, and the owners sorted it quickly and were very friendly and helpful. All in all a really super cottage I would highly recommend.

A lovely warm and cosy cottage even in February, garden enclosed and ideal for your dog, near to shops and beach so no need to use your car.

We loved the accommodation and its position in relation to town, sea and walks as well as its proximity to a popular RSPB venue.

The back garden was lovely and the front garden was a useful area for cleaning off our dog. The house was warm, comfortable, beautifully decorated and we were also happy with the privacy and security.

Very comfortable accommodation with parking and a back garden, in a quiet part of Hunstanton, a couple of minutes away from Cliff Parade and the first class beaches.

Well equipped and everything easy to use . We stayed over Christmas and the heating was toasty . Hunstanton remains a little gem with everything going for it. It is well served by quality independent shops and cafes, the usual supermarkets and exceptional fish and chip restaurants We would thoroughly recommend this cottage and the town. And finally a mention for our hosts who were very accommodating and ensured our lovely Christmas .

It’s a lovely cottage, bijou but perfectly formed, comfortable, well equipped, warm (November) and ideally situated. The welcome goodies deserve a mention too and were very gratefully received. We will most definitely return.

Little Wash Cottage is an absolute gem we had a fantastic time exploring this part of Norfolk and to come "home" each day to such a clean and comfortable base was perfect.

Ideally located (had looked on the map but even better in reality). Everything you could possibly need is provided and the owners are so thoughtful. Humans, dog and tortoise thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Lovely cottage exceptionally well looked after includes everything needed to make it a home from home.

Very well situated in the town for beach or shops. Would be ideal for someone with a four legged friend (which unfortunately we don’t have. Have already booked to come back next year

Lovely stay at a beautiful cottage.

I really enjoyed my visit and was able to have breakfast in the garden most days watching the butterflies. The cottage is located centrally for the sea and the bus stop with lots to do in Hunstanton and watch the sunsets. Everything is provided that you need and thoughtful touches with the decor. Also quiet so you feel you have your own space. You can also take the bus to Holkham and a reduced price if you show your bus ticket.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage with a cosy home from home feel to it.

We were very comfortable staying there and loved the fact we were so close to the sea and shops. The lovely owners had thought of everything including a blanket on the sofa for chillier evenings. A thoughtful welcome pack including sweets for our daughter was really thoughtful. Thank you so much! We will definitely recommend to family & friends and hope to visit again.

Very clean with good Wi-Fi. The off Road parking was good and a very convenient location. Overall we were extremely pleased and our Grandchildren loved it.

Wow, just wow!

Absolutely perfect in every way. The location was incredible and the view of the sea from the front door was beautiful. Hearing the sea at night through the bedroom window was heaven. It’s situated at the end of the Hunstanton promenade and is basically Old Hunstanton. You get the easy access of all the shops, beach, pier and promenade but also the easy walk to Old Hunstanton and its beautiful beach. I walked there every morning with my dog and stopped for a coffee and dog treat,as everywhere is dog friendly. The cottage is a dream! It’s spotless, and without sounding to stereotypical, you can tell women own the property as it has everything you could possibly need, from hairdryers and hand mirrors in each bedroom to throws and blankets. The kitchen has everything you need and the welcome gifts were so thoughtful. My dog came with us and they had provided toys, blankets, bowls and poo bags. There were lots of books and games to play and the tv has all the features of Netflix and Iplayer ect with the owner already logged in for you. The shed in the back garden was a treasure trove and I wish I knew about it before we travelled! It has everything you need for the beach! Chairs, windbreaker, buckets and spades and even crabbing equipment. The garden was very pretty and the parking behind the cottage was great if you don’t want to leave it on the road but another amazing thing is that you can park near enough anywhere for free, even in the town you can park for 45mins which I thought was incredible. We had a wonderful holiday and a much needed break and I want to thank the lovely owners of ‘Little Wash’ for providing us with beautiful memories, thank you.

Little wash cottage is well placed being close to both the town and beach.

It has a small enclosed garden which was ideal for our dog to relax in. The property was very clean, well decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Will definitely return.

We traveled up and down the coast on the coast liner buses with the stop being on the end of the road .Will certainly be back again in the future

We’ve been coming to Hunstanton for years and we thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage!

So thoughtfully and meticulously equipped and decorated - an absolute gem! The location was perfect, with lots of additional, free, on street parking adjacent to the cottage, and just a few minutes walk from the town centre and the sea front. I have an EV and multiple BP charge points are a short walk away at the library, with free parking there after 5pm. The owners are so thoughtful and attentive - thank you Sally and Meg….we will be back for sure. Loved it!

We had a lovely week staying in this beautiful cottage.

It is situated in a quiet area with the town centre and sea front within easy walking distance. There is a charming seaside theme throughout and it is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need . There is a lovely little private garden at the rear where we enjoyed having breakfast or a glass of wine after a day's exploring . We had the pleasure of meeting the owners Meg and Sally as we were leaving and to thank them for the thoughtful welcome gifts . We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean compact little cottage within a short distance of the sea and town.

Plenty of things to keep family amused if unable to get out due to bad weather. Also many things in outhouse to take to beach. Could not fault anything and would love to return and have same property.

Well equipped with everything you need. One of the cleanest places we've stayed in. Thankyou for the little extras, apple juice, cake, milk and dog treats. The garden is lovely to sit in and the parking space at the back was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return.

Little Wash Cottage was the perfect location for our week in Hunstanton.

We have stayed in Hunstanton many times and this is probably the best place we have stayed in. Everything from the decor, to the facilities, to the cleanliness and to the welcome pack were just what we'd hope for. The parking behind the house was a bonus and with the great weather we had the garden was perfect for sitting out in at any time of day. We are definitely looking to book Little Wash Cottage again in the future.

A very comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need

We had a very pleasant week at Little Wash Cottage.

The bed was very comfortable with a skylight to view the stars at night. Everything we needed for a wonderful holiday was provided. The beach was a short walk away down the road, with a pleasant Park from which to watch the sunset. A secluded garden at the rear of the property, provided space for our Border Terrier to explore safely. Seating in the sun was perfect for reading and relaxing after a busy day.

Very clean and had everything we needed for the week. Was a few minutes walk to the beach and town and was in a perfect spot to explore. The owners were super friendly and had thought of everything we might need while on holiday. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Little Wash Cottage.

It had everything we needed and felt like home-from-home. Although the layout is small it is well designed and works well. The beds were very comfortable. The welcome tray of goodies on arrival was a lovely extra touch thank you. It's in a great location for walking to the beach at Old Hunstanton and going into town. The parking space was a bonus too, great not having to find somewhere to park although in October the streets weren't as busy with parked cars anyway.

Really enjoyed my stay.

Cottage was very clean and welcoming and a great location for the sea and amenities in the quieter end of town. Liked the welcome apple juice and cake! I also really enjoyed the courtyard garden which had enough space for a table and chairs and meant that I could have meals outside watching the butterflies on the plants when the weather permitted. Bus stop is a couple of mins away just down the road at Lincoln Square, which is one stop along from Hunstanton bus station. Also discovered that some attractions like Holkham Hall offer a significant discount on showing a bus ticket so worth checking. An excellent relaxing break.

I don’t know what more I can add that has not been said before by previous reviews except to say that if you want to have a holiday In Norfolk this is the home from home you would be looking for.

Also having personal contact from Meg and Sally was exceptional. The only thing that could have been better was the weather.

The owners have taken care and pride to ensure a comfortable stay. Modern interior, spotlessly clean throughout and everything you could need and more. Although a car parking space was available, we were able to park in the road all week. Garden is secure. Short 5 min drive to Old Hunstanton near the RNLI centre, the Old Town Cafe with your dog is a must. An absolute gem. Beach great for walking out as tide wasn't in. Plus all Hunstanton pubs were dog friendly and welcoming. We will be back to Little Wash Cottage.

Brilliantly located close to the sea and walking distance to the town, Old Hunstanton and a couple of supermarkets. Everything we needed in the kitchen and the garden was fully enclosed which we very much appreciated for our dog! Sally also very kindly returned a bag we left behind. Thanks for a great stay!

this was our 3rd visit and it always impresses . location is great , just 5 mins walk from town centre yet really quiet .Cottage always immaculate . the highest level of cleanliness . always maintained to highest standard .friendly and helpful owners . I cant recommend it highly enough , its one of the best we have stayed in with Sykes over 20 years . If travelling from North , best to avoid Fridays and Kings Lyn sat in jam over an hour at Kings Lyn ! Not te cottages faut just the local council .

Lovely little cottage in good location.

So cosy and welcoming, welcome gifts were very welcome by our 4 legged friend and the Easter treats were lovely. Loved everything about this cottage, one of the best Sykes we have stayed in by far. Will definitely be returning.

This cottage is excellent in many respects.

It is well located near the town centre with its amenities and two minutes from the seafront and cliff parade. The place is very clean and well-equipped. I feel that a lot of though has gone into the layout and design. As a bonus, it has a neat patio, small garden and a dedicated parking space. A lot of thought has gone into extras, such as a basket of dog items and some additional seaside 'stuff' in the outside shed. I can highly recommend this property.

A super clean beautifully decorated and well equipped cottage, loved the attention to detail - basket of dog equipment, stair gate, cake wine milk all left for our arrival.

The fridge is a bit on the small side for 4 adults worth of food but we managed around that. Lots of nice walks and very dog friendly town. Clearly people return again judging from the guest book which doesn’t surprise us.

Very well equipped. The owners were very helpful. Our only quibble was that we could not really sit up in bed because of the sloping ceiling. There is not that the owners could do about this though! This would not prevent us from visiting again. We also felt that we missed out by not bringing a dog with us. (Judging by the favourable comments in the visitors' book!)

Wash cottage is ideally situated for all amenities in Hunstanton . It is an exceptionally equipped , clean , dog friendly property and has everything you need for a great holiday . The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and communicate freely -making it a very personal experience . I would have no hesitation in recommending this property .

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed and more!

The location was perfect too as so quiet. The welcome gifts of apple juice and lemon drizzle cake were very much appreciated as was the milk in the fridge.

The cottage was beautiful, extremely clean and well equipped.

Unfortunately we had to cut our holiday short and only stayed for the weekend but because the property was so good it made our weekend special just a shame we couldn't stay to celebrate my birthday.

Little Wash Cottage is a credit to the owners who genuinely want you to have the best stay possible.

The cottage is a 5 minute walk to the centre of Hunstanton and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Cannot recommend this cottage highly enough

Excellent cottage, spotless, all round lovely experience.

Plenty of nice touches by the owners to make sure functionality and comfort. If there was one suggestion it would be about the double bed being not so comfortable, just a suggestion to help make it 100%. Otherwise, it’s really well renovated, ace location and the garden like a little oasis. Keep up the great work.

Although the weather was poor we did manage some walks between the rain and visits to a couple of historic houses.

Wash cottage was a good base for travelling the north Norfolk coastal area and was a warm cosy cottage with all you require for a holiday let, and we would stay there again.

All the kitchen equipment you require is their, A welcome gift { very nice } The cottage is 5 mins walk to the town center where you can get everything you want AND THE WALKS WITH YOUR DOG ARE TREMENDOUS MILES AND MILES OF SANDY BEACHES WHICH YOU CAN LET YOUR DOG OF THE LEAD { 5 STARS FROM ME } . Buses into Kings Lynn { dogs allowed on , approx 40 mins , or by car 15 mins Plenty of parking ] And Wells -Next -The Sea is a must with your dog £9.00 all day parking Or £4.00 for just 2 hours [ i would suggest drive to ] Overall A great week pity the weather was,nt good

This cottage was lovely.

We actually played what is missing or what does this cottage need that they haven't got (it was rainy day !) and we couldn't think of a single thing. Only slightly bigger towels but that's because l am used to them.Everything seems to have been thought of. Comfortable seats in lounge, good heaters, Sun loungers for the garden also portable beach chairs if wanted. Welcome gifts were lovely, l ate most of the cake probably why l need a bigger towel. l really cant recommend the place enough, well positioned in town, but very quiet. Credit to the owners, getting all this right. Thank you

Haha! Cottage is excellent, everything well thought through. Thoroughly recommended but would not shout it from the rooftops and jeopardise our chances of booking occasionally!

The accommodation was very well equipped, perfectly clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the whole was thoughtfully presented.

It was in almost every respect perfect. Our only minor quibble was that the two armchairs could have been more comfortable. We had a wonderful week and would have no hesitation at all in recommending the cottage. We also welcomed Sykes’ fine organisation and helpful follow-up mails. Should be standard in the industry.
