“Perfection!”

Gorgeous cottage in a gorgeous location, next to everything you need! Second time visiting, ‘Little Wash’ and have booked us up for next year too! Meg and Sally have made this cottage a home away from home. Everything you need and more is provided. The back garden is a lovely place for morning coffee and croissants and it also provides good shade later in the evening when the sun was still incredibly hot! Gorgeous cottage in a gorgeous location, next to everything you need! Second time visiting, ‘Little Wash’ and have booked us up for next year too! Meg and Sally have made this cottage a home away from home. Everything you need and more is provided. The back garden is a lovely place for morning coffee and croissants and it also provides good shade later in the evening when the sun was still incredibly hot! Sally gave me suggestions of places to visit when I rang for the key code and every place she told me about was amazing. Loads of gorgeous antique places, for example in Snettisham. Reasonable but very tasty places to eat, for example cafe opposite the RNLI life boat, and lots of shops with fab clothes and gifts. What was so good is that the cottage is only 5-15mins away from all of these venues. We had the best fish and chips from ‘Elliot’s fish truck’, based on the promenade just below the Green but they sell out quickly as they are the best. Can’t wait to get back to the wonderful Little Wash!

“Little Wash Cottage was a perfect location for a couple of octogenarians - whilst we can still manage stairs.”

The cottage was well-equipped both upstairs and down and the beds and chairs were comfortable. This year we decided against cooking our meals in the cottage, but our previous experience was that the cooking facilities were very good. The cottage was well situated, just out of the town, but only a short walk to the shops and cafes of Hunstanton.

“The cottage has an excellent position in Hunstanton, being only a few minutes walk from the Prom but also very close to all amenities.”

It’s also in a very quiet street. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very well appointed, comfortable and always warm. It was a pleasure to come back to after a day out and felt like a home from home. We had one small problem, of our own making, and the owners sorted it quickly and were very friendly and helpful. All in all a really super cottage I would highly recommend.

Well equipped and everything easy to use . We stayed over Christmas and the heating was toasty . Hunstanton remains a little gem with everything going for it. It is well served by quality independent shops and cafes, the usual supermarkets and exceptional fish and chip restaurants We would thoroughly recommend this cottage and the town. And finally a mention for our hosts who were very accommodating and ensured our lovely Christmas .

“Lovely stay at a beautiful cottage.”

I really enjoyed my visit and was able to have breakfast in the garden most days watching the butterflies. The cottage is located centrally for the sea and the bus stop with lots to do in Hunstanton and watch the sunsets. Everything is provided that you need and thoughtful touches with the decor. Also quiet so you feel you have your own space. You can also take the bus to Holkham and a reduced price if you show your bus ticket.

“Wow, just wow!”

Absolutely perfect in every way. The location was incredible and the view of the sea from the front door was beautiful. Hearing the sea at night through the bedroom window was heaven. It’s situated at the end of the Hunstanton promenade and is basically Old Hunstanton. You get the easy access of all the shops, beach, pier and promenade but also the easy walk to Old Hunstanton and its beautiful beach. I walked there every morning with my dog and stopped for a coffee and dog treat,as everywhere is dog friendly. The cottage is a dream! It’s spotless, and without sounding to stereotypical, you can tell women own the property as it has everything you could possibly need, from hairdryers and hand mirrors in each bedroom to throws and blankets. The kitchen has everything you need and the welcome gifts were so thoughtful. My dog came with us and they had provided toys, blankets, bowls and poo bags. There were lots of books and games to play and the tv has all the features of Netflix and Iplayer ect with the owner already logged in for you. The shed in the back garden was a treasure trove and I wish I knew about it before we travelled! It has everything you need for the beach! Chairs, windbreaker, buckets and spades and even crabbing equipment. The garden was very pretty and the parking behind the cottage was great if you don’t want to leave it on the road but another amazing thing is that you can park near enough anywhere for free, even in the town you can park for 45mins which I thought was incredible. We had a wonderful holiday and a much needed break and I want to thank the lovely owners of ‘Little Wash’ for providing us with beautiful memories, thank you.

So thoughtfully and meticulously equipped and decorated - an absolute gem! The location was perfect, with lots of additional, free, on street parking adjacent to the cottage, and just a few minutes walk from the town centre and the sea front. I have an EV and multiple BP charge points are a short walk away at the library, with free parking there after 5pm. The owners are so thoughtful and attentive - thank you Sally and Meg….we will be back for sure. Loved it!

The bed was very comfortable with a skylight to view the stars at night. Everything we needed for a wonderful holiday was provided. The beach was a short walk away down the road, with a pleasant Park from which to watch the sunset. A secluded garden at the rear of the property, provided space for our Border Terrier to explore safely. Seating in the sun was perfect for reading and relaxing after a busy day.

It had everything we needed and felt like home-from-home. Although the layout is small it is well designed and works well. The beds were very comfortable. The welcome tray of goodies on arrival was a lovely extra touch thank you. It's in a great location for walking to the beach at Old Hunstanton and going into town. The parking space was a bonus too, great not having to find somewhere to park although in October the streets weren't as busy with parked cars anyway.

“Really enjoyed my stay.”

Cottage was very clean and welcoming and a great location for the sea and amenities in the quieter end of town. Liked the welcome apple juice and cake! I also really enjoyed the courtyard garden which had enough space for a table and chairs and meant that I could have meals outside watching the butterflies on the plants when the weather permitted. Bus stop is a couple of mins away just down the road at Lincoln Square, which is one stop along from Hunstanton bus station. Also discovered that some attractions like Holkham Hall offer a significant discount on showing a bus ticket so worth checking. An excellent relaxing break.

The owners have taken care and pride to ensure a comfortable stay. Modern interior, spotlessly clean throughout and everything you could need and more. Although a car parking space was available, we were able to park in the road all week. Garden is secure. Short 5 min drive to Old Hunstanton near the RNLI centre, the Old Town Cafe with your dog is a must. An absolute gem. Beach great for walking out as tide wasn't in. Plus all Hunstanton pubs were dog friendly and welcoming. We will be back to Little Wash Cottage.

this was our 3rd visit and it always impresses . location is great , just 5 mins walk from town centre yet really quiet .Cottage always immaculate . the highest level of cleanliness . always maintained to highest standard .friendly and helpful owners . I cant recommend it highly enough , its one of the best we have stayed in with Sykes over 20 years . If travelling from North , best to avoid Fridays and Kings Lyn sat in jam over an hour at Kings Lyn ! Not te cottages faut just the local council .

“This cottage is excellent in many respects.”

It is well located near the town centre with its amenities and two minutes from the seafront and cliff parade. The place is very clean and well-equipped. I feel that a lot of though has gone into the layout and design. As a bonus, it has a neat patio, small garden and a dedicated parking space. A lot of thought has gone into extras, such as a basket of dog items and some additional seaside 'stuff' in the outside shed. I can highly recommend this property.

The fridge is a bit on the small side for 4 adults worth of food but we managed around that. Lots of nice walks and very dog friendly town. Clearly people return again judging from the guest book which doesn’t surprise us.

Very well equipped. The owners were very helpful. Our only quibble was that we could not really sit up in bed because of the sloping ceiling. There is not that the owners could do about this though! This would not prevent us from visiting again. We also felt that we missed out by not bringing a dog with us. (Judging by the favourable comments in the visitors' book!)

The property was clean and the apple cake left for our consumption was a nice touch. Bonnie appreciated the bonios and treats as well as the selection of doggie toys. A very dog friendly property.

Plenty of nice touches by the owners to make sure functionality and comfort. If there was one suggestion it would be about the double bed being not so comfortable, just a suggestion to help make it 100%. Otherwise, it’s really well renovated, ace location and the garden like a little oasis. Keep up the great work.

Wash cottage was a good base for travelling the north Norfolk coastal area and was a warm cosy cottage with all you require for a holiday let, and we would stay there again.

All the kitchen equipment you require is their, A welcome gift { very nice } The cottage is 5 mins walk to the town center where you can get everything you want AND THE WALKS WITH YOUR DOG ARE TREMENDOUS MILES AND MILES OF SANDY BEACHES WHICH YOU CAN LET YOUR DOG OF THE LEAD { 5 STARS FROM ME } . Buses into Kings Lynn { dogs allowed on , approx 40 mins , or by car 15 mins Plenty of parking ] And Wells -Next -The Sea is a must with your dog £9.00 all day parking Or £4.00 for just 2 hours [ i would suggest drive to ] Overall A great week pity the weather was,nt good

“This cottage was lovely.”

We actually played what is missing or what does this cottage need that they haven't got (it was rainy day !) and we couldn't think of a single thing. Only slightly bigger towels but that's because l am used to them.Everything seems to have been thought of. Comfortable seats in lounge, good heaters, Sun loungers for the garden also portable beach chairs if wanted. Welcome gifts were lovely, l ate most of the cake probably why l need a bigger towel. l really cant recommend the place enough, well positioned in town, but very quiet. Credit to the owners, getting all this right. Thank you

“The accommodation was very well equipped, perfectly clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the whole was thoughtfully presented.”

It was in almost every respect perfect. Our only minor quibble was that the two armchairs could have been more comfortable. We had a wonderful week and would have no hesitation at all in recommending the cottage. We also welcomed Sykes’ fine organisation and helpful follow-up mails. Should be standard in the industry.

Cottage is well situated close to all amenities within walking distance of shops and beach. A very nice welcome pack was provided lovely delicious cake and a bottle of wine (none left after a couple of days !) Would definitely recommend this property .

The award-winning coastal town of Hunstanton, locally known as Sunny Hunny, is located on the Western side of the East Norfolk Coastline, renowned for its beautiful sunsets over the sea. Hunstanton is a great family-friendly holiday destination. The seafront with promenade offers rock and candyfloss stalls, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowls, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade gardens, theatre, clean sandy beaches, donkey rides and sea tours in an amphibious craft. On Sunday afternoons a band often plays in the bandstand on the green overlooking the beach, serenading sunbathers and day-trippers, while throughout the year additional events are held within the town. Walking along the beach towards Old Hunstanton you find the richly-coloured cliff faces with intriguing rock pools. The beach at Old Hunstanton is popular with sunbathers, and also with wind and kite surfers.
