“The "cottage" was a very small end of terrace house which looked bigger in the photos.”
It was nice enough, with a small sun trap garden, basic kitchen facilities and close to Gorleston beach, but expensive based on previous experience of cottage stays. Paid more for proximity to beach than luxury of the stay, although the bed was very comfortable. Basic cleanliness, with a few more detailed spots missed (like the recliner cushions on the sofa full of dog hair & sound system controls). It is dog friendly so as non-pet owners we could smell the wet dog type smells in the carpeted areas. Overall, we enjoyed our stay as a 'base' and being within walking distance of the beach but wouldn't book again.
The property, which is semi detached, has quality fittings, furnishings, towels and bedding as mentioned in several previous reviews and the kitchen is a well known Swedish retailer installation
We do also provide fresh flowers, tea and coffee, hotel style toiletries and a complimentary bottle of wine.
The sound system controls were cleaned to covid guidelines as were all door handles, lamp switches, door knobs and other high density touch points
The recliner and carpet are checked regularly but will of course be double checked as soon as possible, thank you for your feedback and we hope you will be able to find a pet free property more to your liking in future.
