“Cobble cottage was a wonderful place to stay.”

Great location to visit Norfolk in full. Beautiful cottage, full of character, comfortable and clean with everything you would ever need or think you might need!! A lovely welcome pack for us, which was handy as we arrived a little late but had the necessities we would need. A lovely little outside space to sit always makes a difference to me. The owners also kept in touch and recommended places to eat and visit while there. We would definitely visit again.

“The cottage was perfect!”

Everything you could need was provided. Lovely decor too. A lovely touch was the fresh bread, eggs, bacon and juice, very welcoming. All in all a very nice stay. I would highly recommend.

“Fabulous week here even though we had the heatwave week the cottage was cool on the inside and the fans in the bedrooms worked a treat at night making the nights comfortable.”

Really appreciated the welcome pack too. The cottage is central for visiting all the attractions in North Norfolk. The facilities were second to none the only suggestion I could make would be the addition of a small freezer in the boot room that was the only thing we missed, probably because it was very hot and we love ice cream! Well worth 5 stars!

“Cobble Cottage is a great place to stay.”

The general location is good for visiting this part of Norfolk as it allows easy access to the coast from Hunstanton to Cromer. The cottage itself is really well-equipped and comfortable with plenty of games, music and TV options. Nice welcome pack.

“We enjoyed our stay at Cobble Cottage.”

The first few days were 30 degrees plus, but the interior stayed cool. The kitchen was lovely and well equipped. We had a couple of safety concerns however; my husband is over 6 feet and hit his head on the ceiling whilst coming downstairs. Perhaps a ‘Mind your Head’ sign? Also, the hot water was extremely hot and we found it difficult to find a comfortable temperature in the shower as there was little wiggle room between hot and cold.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay. The taps are all mixer taps, so therefore you are able to regulate the temperature yourself. The temperature is set in order for the hot water to last a few showers or baths, adding in cold makes it go further. Re the stairwell. The cottage is an old building so therefore is a quirky shape. The ceilings are all incredibly high. I do not understand why you have marked accuracy of listing or cleanliness down as nobody has ever mentioned a problem before. It would be helpful to understand why you felt the cottage was not as comfortable as everyone else has. perhaps you could respond with specific points that we could address. Thank you. Property Owner

Thank you for your comments however, I'm not sure what you mean re nearby facilities. We leave leaflets of all attractions in the drawer of the unit. It is very difficult to gauge what people like to do, as some guests want To do walks with a dog or without, and some come for bird watching, or to explore the wonderful north Norfolk coastline, in fact there are so many local things to do it is impossible to describe them all. “We had the joy of staying with friends in Cobble Cottage for Christmas & New Year.”

The well equipped kitchen was amazing for making Christmas Dinner.And the living room was great for snacking, chatting and chilling with the most amazing wood burner. Both bedrooms were super comfy, and the village has nice walks for dogs. Tina & Phil were brilliant and making sure everything was OK, leaving us some extra bedding. And returning a few items we forgot when we left. That ks so much.

“We found the cottage to be above expectations and thoroughly enjoyed our week there.”

It was equipped well above the norm and I would certainly recommend it to others. One point I would like to flag up is that there appeared to be only one way to fill the bath, which was with the shower head. For those who prefer a bath to a shower I feel that a small plumbing job to upgrade it would make a big difference. Otherwise all was great.

Hi. Thank you so much for your review. We are sorry you could only fill the bath with the shower head. However, the tap is a mixer tap. On the base of the hose is a knob you pull up for the shower and push down for for the bath tap. It is quite a common tap arrangement. An easy mistake to make it you've never used a mixer tap before. “We have just come back from a wonderful stay at cobble cottage for our toddlers 3rd birthday.”

We have stayed in many holiday cottages but this one was the best yet. It was home from home, super clean and it has everything you could need down to the smallest details. Tina and Phil were absolutely amazing, even surprising us with a gift and cakes for our little one. Incredibly kind, beautiful people, we will definitely visit cobble cottage again in the not to distant future. We have alot more exploring to do!

“Fabulous place, thank you for all the thoughtful extras.”

Only confusing thing was trying to override the heating programme - tried to follow the instructions via the manual and your printed notes, but nothing seemed to be happening, so we were very cold especially during the night, however the log burner was absolutely a delight. Everything else was just perfect. Thank You
