The first few days were 30 degrees plus, but the interior stayed cool. The kitchen was lovely and well equipped.
We had a couple of safety concerns however; my husband is over 6 feet and hit his head on the ceiling whilst coming downstairs. Perhaps a ‘Mind your Head’ sign? Also, the hot water was extremely hot and we found it difficult to find a comfortable temperature in the shower as there was little wiggle room between hot and cold.

The taps are all mixer taps, so therefore you are able to regulate the temperature yourself. The temperature is set in order for the hot water to last a few showers or baths, adding in cold makes it go further.
Re the stairwell. The cottage is an old building so therefore is a quirky shape. The ceilings are all incredibly high.
I do not understand why you have marked accuracy of listing or cleanliness down as nobody has ever mentioned a problem before. It would be helpful to understand why you felt the cottage was not as comfortable as everyone else has. perhaps you could respond with specific points that we could address. Thank you.
