The central heating works well and there were plenty of books, dvds and puzzles.
On the negative side, the two double beds were very uncomfortable, the mattress in the front bedroom was just not fit for purpose. To pay good money on a holiday and not get a decent night's sleep is not much fun. The lighting level downstairs is poor. There are not enough cereal bowls. The sofa is low, which is fine for some but not for all. It does not seat 5 adults which is the stated capacity of the house.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry for the late reply. I did not know I could reply until today. We have taken into account what you said and had an electrician checking all the lights downstairs and changing bulbs for stronger ones. We also bought a brand new mattress for the king bed and cereal bowls. As for the sofa, it is brand new, and when we bought it, they said it could seat 5 people, but the corner space is indeed a bit tiny. We are now looking into buying an armchair. Again, many thanks.
