    “This was my second visit to Lillies Pad and I found that the facilities and cleanliness were still excellent and had been improved on since my previous 5 * visit.”

    Everything that you would need to make for a comfortable and relaxing holiday were supplied. A very comfortable king-sized bed resulted in a good night sleep. A lovely welcome pack, including eggs from the owners hens, were supplied. The owners, Tina and Alan were friendly and helpful but gave you privacy at the same time. I would thoroughly recommend Lillies Pad for a cottage holiday. Thank you!

Lillies Pad is a lovely semi-detached cottage, adjoined to the owner's home, in the village of Methwold, near Feltwell in Norfolk.

the property has two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, with a bathroom and shower over bath, sleeping four guests in total.

The property also consists of a kitchen/diner, sitting room with woodburning stove, snug, sun room and a cloakroom.

Outside is ample off-road parking and an enclosed back garden with furniture.

Lillies Pad is a great base from which to explore the wonderful Thetford Forest Park.

The agricultural village of Feltwell is situated on the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire borders and is one of the largest villages in Norfolk. Feltwell offers good local amenities including village stores, a Post Office, and pubs. This area of Norfolk is known as the ‘Brecks’, which has a unique landscape consisting of beautiful Scots Pine forests, heathlands, wetlands, chalk streams, meres and pingo ponds. The Brecks is an outstanding area for wildlife conservation and boasts several nature reserves, country parks and visitor centres, which offer activities for the whole family. Thetford Forest High Lodge Centre is the largest lowland pine forest in the UK, and is an excellent place to walk and cycle. Just 6 miles from Feltwell on the Suffolk border is Lakenheath, where aviation enthusiasts can see American jets at USAF Lakenheath take off and land from its watch areas. Close by is the English Heritage owned Neolithic flint mines at Grimes Graves, and the 125 acre reconstructed Anglo-Saxon village at West Stow. Museums can be found at Brandon, Thetford, Mildenhall and Swaffham and country houses include the National Trust owned Oxburgh Hall and Euston Hall. The area also has two local small breweries and St George’s Distillery - England’s only whiskey distillery. Feltwell is an ideal base for exploring all that this region has to offer.
