    “Unfortunately the granary was a bit of a dissapointment.”

    On entering the property it smelt stale. After a long drive we were looking forward to a cup of tea , but nothing was provided. The kitchen bowl looked like someone had washed there boots in it. No soap or shampoo provided for a shower . The television was very pixelated or didn't work at all. Don't know what the owners were like as we never met them. Have never used Sykes before, but we wouldn't return to the Granary.

The Granary is a detached, 18th century cottage located on a horse racing training centre, near to the Norfolk market town centre of Hingham.

This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size and one twin, as well as a bathroom.

The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove.

Outside, there is off-road parking for one car and an enclosed lawned garden with furniture.

The Granary is an ideal holiday home for couples and families with lots to see and do in the area.

Quietly nestling amidst the stunning Norfolk countryside, the ancient town of Hingham boasts two village greens, a pub serving good food, and a number of independent amenities including a variety of shops, along with an array of Georgian architecture not to be missed. Previously the home of Samuel Lincoln, whose direct descendant was Abraham Lincoln, this quaint town is home to a 14th century church where you can view a bust of the former President himself.
