    “Cleaning was poor 3spiders in 1 bedroom cobwebs round every window amd whole chalet, not very nice and took 5mins to do.”

    Toilet had poo on the bowl and the Cleaning brush poop stuck all on it nasty.ps2 games didn't work apart from 2, adult dvds needed not kids my niece is 12 not 5, had to rewash all oven trays and saucepans crumbs all in cutlery tray the kitchen blind badly stained and dead moth on it. The pool wasn't open as advertised kids very jarred about that

I will inform the cleaner of this immediately, as previously there has been good feedback regarding the cleanliness of the chalet. The videos and games are provided complimentary and free of charge for use by customers, and are not tailored towards the age range of those staying. Customers are welcome to bring their own games or videos for use on the TV in the chalet. I obviously have no control over the sites facilities including the pool opening - the pool is not advertised as part of the chalet. Property Owner

The property

Sitting in a prominent position of Hemsby is Chalet 52, a lovely ground-floor lodge just a short drive or a 30 minute walk away from sandy beaches and the Norfolk coastline. This welcoming, recently redecorated and rennovated, abode is ideal for a small family looking for a quiet break away to the seaside. You are welcomed by a peaceful front porch where you can sit out and enjoy a morning coffee on a crisp autumn morning before heading into the open-plan living area, a homely space for days inside. Make use of the well-equipped kitchen during mealtimes, preparing your favourite delicacies before setting the dining table to catch-up on the day. Curl up with your favourite book on the plush sofas of an evening, enjoy a family film night, or utilise the provided PS2 for a fun games night. There is No Wifi at the property. Withdraw to one of the well-presented bedrooms, comprising a double and a twin with plenty of storage and access to a spacious bathroom where you can prepare for your day with the choice of a lazy bath or brisk shower. The chalet itself is very close to the car park and entrance, in perfect walking distance to the local store where you can stock up on snacks and home-cooking essentials, whilst several welcoming pubs and restaurants can be found down the road, as well as any other amenities. Enjoy a romantic stroll over to Hemsby Beach, letting the golden sands touch your feet before heading over to seaside amusements at the arcades, playing a game of golf or sampling a refreshing ice cream and seaside cocktail. Take a day trip along the coastline to the incredible resort of Great Yarmouth, boasting a long stretch of sandy beaches, the beautiful Britannia Pier, a gorgeous theatre, amusements and bars, as well as popular attractions including the Merrivale Model Village, the SEA LIFE Centre, Pleasure Beach, and Joyland Children's Fun Park. Venture over to Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens for a fun-filled day out, meeting fascinating wildlife from red pandas, snow leopards, Sumatran tigers and meerkats. The east Norfolk village of Hemsby is split into two parts, Hemsby village and Hemsby Beach. The village offers two stores, two pub/restaurants, a hairdresser's, a number of takeaways and a regular bus service to Great Yarmouth. Beach Road leads you approximately one mile to the area known as Hemsby Beach, with a variety of cafés, restaurants and takeaways, various amusement arcades, children's funfair rides, and traditional seaside shops. The beach has miles of golden sandy coastline edged with dunes. Just 7 miles' drive and you arrive in Great Yarmouth, with beautiful sandy beaches and a mile-long promenade which you can enjoy in a horse and carriage, a charming quayside, pier with entertainment, indoor and outdoor attractions, museums, gardens, restaurants and fast food outlets. The bustling town centre offers seaside gift shops, a good general shopping centre and a traditional market.
