A lovely cottage in a great location near to Hickling Broad and Horsey.
For us, in particular, being so close to the Broad was very helpful for launching our kayak at the parish Staithe (£). Also great to have a good waterside pub (the Pleasure Boat Inn) so close. There are also some really nice walks in the area. (PS if you are new to induction hobs, after switching on, “LO” doesn’t mean low, it means locked. So you will need to press the padlock key next to unlock before anything will happen + have a pan already on one of the hobs!)
Perfect in every way
Quiet, unusual location.
Cottage was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had obviously been redone recently. A grab handle for the shower would help. A waste bin in the bedroom would also be useful. Main areas of concern were the poor lighting, basic kitchen appliances (no microwave but there is no room to site one) and difficult parking when all 3 bays are in use. Having read previous reviews, we brought the necessary cables to be able to use the TV.
