However, as the weather was so hot during our weeks stay the fans that were provided just pushed around warm air. The front upstairs bedroom and the lounge area are in full sun all afternoon and get very hot. They are both floor to ceiling glass too, which doesn’t help. Perhaps an outside awning or sail type blind would provide shade and help to keep them cooler in the daytime. We kept the indoor vertical blinds closed in the daytime but that didn’t help much. Also there aren’t any heavy lined curtains at any windows, which may have helped to keep the heat out.
We had a problem with the hob on day two but we called the number provided and the maintenance man came to fix it. He was very helpful and got the power to it restored. The back left hand side ring of the ceramic job wasn’t working though but we managed without it.
If the heat in the house in the summer could be sorted out, as our summers are predicted to get hotter. we would definitely return again. If it hadn’t have been for the excessive heat in the house it would have been a 10 out of 10.
