Had a lovely week at Wensum Spring.

Great location, ideal for countryside and coast. Stuart was very welcoming and helpful. Shed for bikes was ideal and EV charger was very convenient. Highly recommended.

We are just back from a lovely week at Wensum Spring .

The property is spotless and very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, with a good shower, very comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. Stuart was most welcoming and available for any queries, but all went well. We could make use of the garden as we were lucky with the weather and it was especially good for our dog as it is completely enclosed. There are some lovely walks from the door and the locals are very friendly, also we found it was easy to get to the coast so not too remote. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. Probably the nicest holiday property we have stayed in.

Wensum Spring is a little gem for two.

Stuart is friendly and welcoming, available if you need him but not in your face. The cottage is a lovely conversion, welcoming and very comfortable, bed really comfy and slept very well. There are some good walks going from the front door, we did a circular 1.5 mile morning and evening with our dog. All in all this was a great find and we are already booked for December for the Christmas events. An ideal place for couples looking for peace and quiet in comfort.

We have just come back from an absolutely beautiful week staying at this little old chapel.

Its a perfectly clean property, everything you need for a week away. The bath is enormous!! And the garden was perfect for our 6 month old pup, very secure. There are two really friendly sheep just across from the place and lovely walks from the doorstep. We watched dear and rabbits in the field at the bottom of the garden which was wonderful.

We had a lovely week at the beautiful Wensum Spring and received a very warm welcome from Stuart the owner on our arrival.

The welcome pack was a very thoughtful touch and we especially enjoyed the lemon cake and apple juice. The accommodation was perfect in every way, from the comfy sofa, well appointed bathroom and kitchen, to the large cosy bed. We were lucky to have beautiful weather so made the most of the relaxing garden when we weren’t out and about. We would highly recommend the cottage and would definitely stay again when we re-visit Norfolk. Mustn’t forget a mention for Fin the collie, who was very friendly.

Our 3rd stay at this lovely cottage, great location, lovely and quiet, very clean and comfortable and a fantastic garden with a view, safe and secure for our dog.

It was perfect for a couple with a dog.

We found that it was easy to get to the north coast via the nearby B road. In the evenings we enjoyed quiet walks around the locality. The owner was helpful when we arrived. It was good to know he was over the road if we needed him, but all went well.

It’s a beautiful renovation which has been done with real style and everything you could possibly need for comfort. Lots of lovely personal touches from the very nice and helpful owners.

It has everything you need. Comfortable clean and welcoming. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dog. If we do go back to the area we would definitely rebook. Thank you for a lovely stay

The property was excellent , and although recently stayed at Heacham (Sykes) I cannot compare the two.

Sadly this site does not allow messages to the owners (unseen by public, as does Airbnb) This property had copious firewood (not needed) washing up liquid, oil etc, and owners obviously thought about the comfort of their guests ( and hose outside for furry muddy friends) which with my copious towels was excellent. I would return, especially as the bathroom radiator was on, to dry my towel and those of my dog . Brilliant place

Absolutely loved it - the most gorgeous stay, such a lovely little place, well thought out, well designed and such a delightful few days!

The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog, the log burner and generous pile of logs was welcome in the snowy weather. Thank you for the stair gate we didn’t know it was there and we’re a little concerned about our dog and the no upstairs rule he is well behaved but he’d have taken his chances sneaking up without that! We will be back, thank you so much for such a lovely stay ☺️

Lovely little cottage for 2 people and very dog friendly with a lovely little secure garden.

Very well equipped and in a beautiful location. Owner is on hand if needed as lives across the lane, the locals are very friendly. We had shocking weather but still managed to enjoy the area and even managed a walk on Wells beach in the wind and rain.

We have had the best week at Wensum Spring Stuart was lovely, and the welcome gifts were much appreciated.

Wensum Spring is gorgeous with everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. We have loved sitting in the garden watching the horses & pheasants and all the bird life . It was so quiet & peaceful , the bed was so comfortable. The locals were friendly & stopped to chat and we had some lovely walks . We have already booked for next year . Gorgeous place

We enjoyed our week at Wensum Spring, the cottage was modern well equipped with all our requirements lovely comfortable bed, the secure garden was great for our 2 dogs.

The cottage was clean and modern and was equipped with everything I needed and more. It was cosy and comfortable. The bath is very large and relaxing. The host was very friendly and kind. I would very much like to return. Thank you very much.

Our first time to this area, we arrived a little earlier than expected and was happy to wait an hour before our expected time.

We saw the owner and he was more than happy for us to enter the property and was very welcoming and gave us some details about the area. We had a nice welcome pack and milk to have a cuppa before our food delivery at 4 pm. The cottage conversion was tastefully presented and well equipped. The bathroom was roomy and the underfloor heating was a nice surprise on your feet, the garden was lovely for the dog, was nice to sit outside and listen to the birds and owl if you were lucky. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend, the beaches were amazing and could walk miles.

Treasure of a find, nothing to say negative about this property, it is exactly as advertised, very clean and comfortable, so well kitted out I can’t imagine visitors would need anything else for their stay.

The welcome basket was a lovely gesture and the lemon drizzle cake delicious. The fully enclosed garden meant our two dogs could be let out without any worries of escaping and we could sit and watch the wildlife from there, of which there is plenty. The owner Stuart is lovely always available if you need help, hoping to book next year.

A wonderful place to stay.

Everything you could need, and to watch the sunset each evening from the garden at the back was the icing on the cake. Really great place to stay.

The holiday home was perfect for a quiet getaway.

The home itself had a lovely welcome pack, information to help us, had lots of equipment for cooking and was situated in an amazing area to explore Norfolk. The owner was really lovely and had taken great care of the house. Our dogs had an amazing stay too and enjoyed the garden too. Thank you for an amazing stay and if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing time, this is definietly the perfect place to for you.

We enjoyed our stay at this property which was super quiet, clean and with a well equipped kitchen.

The only minor issue is that the fridge is on the small side with a tiny "Ice Box" style freezer compartment so for those who want to dine in regularly space for meat, fish or ice for the G&T is limited so plan accordingly. The bathroom is a good size with a nice shower and the bed is comfortable although hanging space for clothes in the mezzanine bedroom is rather limited which wasn't a major issue for us as we packed mostly walking clothes but worth noting if you aren't a light packer. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch and Stuart the owner is a really friendly guy, who lives across the lane and is therefore on hand to help if needed or for a 5 minute chat about your day but gives you your privacy if wanted. The garden has great sunset views and is the perfect place to dine outside and is a safe enclosed space for a small dog to play in. Our little guy loved basking in the morning sun while stretched out on the grass! EV charging is a plus but the charger although rated at 7 kWh runs at approx 4.5 kWh, so factor that into any charging requirements although Rapid Charging is available in Fakenham if needed. Location wise its ideal to get to Sandringham, Holkham, Sheringham/Cromer or The Broads so time spent in the car is kept down while affording you the opportunity to cover all of North Norfolk's attractions easily. We had a lovely time and would happily stay again in the future

Lovely cottage, had everything one could need apart from a washing machine and off road parking for more than one/a bigger vehicle.

Great location, well equipped and friendly owner opposite. Super pet friendly stay, which was vital. Highly recommend.

Lovely cottage.

Well equipped and in a very quiet country location. For our 2 night stay it was ideal. Very clean. The only thing I would mention is the mattress was on the very soft side. Dog friendly with an enclosed garden and near by lanes to to explore.

Our second stay at this gorgeous cottage and will be returning again, one of the best cottages we have stayed in definitely worth booking.

What an amazing place.

We were met by Stuart on arrival with a lovely welcome. The property is superb, comfortable and very well maintained. There was a welcome pack with cake crisps and a lovely apple juice. The bed is extremely comfortable. The fully enclosed garden is safe for you furry friends with a table and chairs. While we were there we sat watching the rabbits in the paddock playing and chasing. There’s a folder in the property explaining how everything works, local places of interest and even information on where you can walk your dog. There’s a very convenient track opposite the property where I walked our dogs every day. The WiFi is good, fast enough for movie streaming. The mobile phone signal is low but didn’t cause us any problems. It’s a lovely quiet place to stay, the only things that you can hear are the birds in the trees We are already thinking of staying again

A fantastic cottage in a great quiet area everything needed was supplied, so peaceful and the enclosed garden for our puppy was brilliant, it’s very clean and well maintained.

Lovely small cottage in a quiet location - exactly as described and everything you need in a holiday rental.

Lovely peaceful location and beautifully decorated throughout.

Extremely comfortable and excellent location for all my plans. Lovely to find a bottle of Red Wine waiting for me and milk in the fridge. Loved the back garden area looking over nearby field .... and very tempted to return one winter as there was plenty of wood to make a nice fire. It would have been nice to have bath and hair products available but I always take my own special miniatures anyway so it wasn't a problem.

Would recommend.

Property owner was very helpful. Especially liked the wildlife (Jays, Tawny Owl, rabbits, etc.) and low light pollution for observing the ISS. We will return. Thank you for a great stay. Mandy and Gary.

The hosts of the property were superb, extremely kind and helpful.

The property was precisely as expected, a quiet “bolt hole” spacious, comfortable with lots of facilities and easy to find. Hopefully the owners won’t change anything as this really is a perfect holiday cottage, fantastic launch pad for exploring the countryside.

A gem.

Having looked on streetview beforehand it looks small and you wonder if there's any traffic noise at night. But it's a tardis, bigger than it looks, and we got undisturbed sleep. Location is out in the country (owl, jays etc) but coast and nice towns still fairly close to visit. Must mention the owners who couldn't have been more helpful. Some glitches with the electric car charging but again proximity of towns meant it wasn't enough of an issue to stop us rating at 5 star.

The beautiful converted chapel is an absolute gem, very well equipped, warm and comfortable. Would love to come back in the summer! Highly recommend.

Lovely little property.

Stuart the owner lives just across the lane, on hand if you need him but also respects your privacy. Secure garden was perfect for the dogs and they also own a field just up the lane where we could walk the dogs in peace. Log burner was lovely, well equipped kitchen, clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. Would definitely come back!

WE STAYED AT WENSUM SPRING FOR 3 NIGHTS WITH OUR 2 DOGS, THE CHAPEL HAS BEEN CONVERTED VERY WELL.

IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED EVEN AN AIRFRYER. WE LOVED THE WELCOME PACK, AND THE LEMON DRIZZLE CAKE WAS EXCELLENT. 5 STARS AND WOULD VISIT AGAIN

Great Chapel conversion.

Everything you need, absolutely superb. Couldn't fault. Owners very nice and happy to help with any problems.

The cottage was excellent.

We loved the sissy, the location was perfect, lovely walks with my dogs. The hosts were lovely people and the small enclosed garden 'just the job'. Easy access to the coast and other beautiful areas.

What a cracking little place, very well set out and finished to a very high standard.

Well placed for exploring all north Norfolk. Owner lovely chap and lived in the house across the lane. Great enclosed small but perfectly formed garden. Lots of walks from the door straight out into open countryside and a 5 acre field (not enclosed) belonging to owner just 2 minutes walk down a bridlepath. Would highly recommend and would visit again.

Wensum Spring is a little gem of a find.

Everything you could want from a self catering property was thought of. Welcome basket and fresh flowers a lovely touch. We stayed 12 days and found it to be the perfect location for exploring Norfolk. Stuart and Ann were available if needed without being intrusive, they should be very proud of what they have achieved with this property. We will be back.

Absolutely perfect in every way . Set in lovely Norfolk countryside, If you want a quiet get away this would suit . But with plenty of places to visit too . I would definitely recommend staying here . Also I loved the decor .

Wensum Spring was a wonderful base to explore Norfolk.

The cottage itself is excellent, well furnished, great use of the space, all the equipment you need in the kitchen, and the most wonderful outdoor space where you can sit and enjoy the tranquility. For dog owners, a truly secure garden!! Stuart was amazing, a wonderful gentleman, we were the first people to start with an electric car and had some issues with the charger but Stuart helped and we got it sorted. We will be back, thank you!

We were greeted by Stuart, who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.The accommodation was wonderful and had everything we could possibly need. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a lovely touch. The accommodation is ideally placed for visiting the towns and villages of North Norfolk, but we would particularly recommend visiting Cambridge, which is only 90 minutes away, and absolutely beautiful. The accommodation was equipped to a high standard and had a lovely secure garden for Charlie and Belle (our dogs). We would highly recommended Wensum Spring, and would definitely return if we visit the area again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wensum Spring despite it being in early January amidst a very wet and windy spell of weather.

If you appreciate and enjoy a remote location, with attendant peace and tranquility, then this is an ideal place to stay. Stuart and Ann, the property owners are extremely nice and helpful people who live very close should you need their help.The appliances, fixtures and fitting are new and of good quality and the log burner was much appreciated.

All aspects of our holiday were positive helpful none intrusive owner would highly recommend and will be returning.

A fantastic property.

Had everything that we could possibly need. Very cosy & comfortable throughout. Just a shame that we didn't get to use the log burner as the weather was unseasonably warm!

The holiday let was lovely and the owners very welcoming.

The only issues were very minor: 1st: clean towels would have been nice especially as we stayed for two weeks 2nd: as we stayed for two weeks access to a washing machine would have been useful I would certainly book this holiday let again

A little gem in a quiet location.

The cottage is beautifully presented and had everything that we needed for our week visit to Norfolk. Although tiny, there was adequate space for two people and the location was excellent for touring north Norfolk's pretty little villages and coastal towns. Would certainly have no hesitation in visiting Wensum Spring again and would recommend this has a great retreat for anyone wanting peace, quiet and tranquility.

Having just returned from a relaxing week at wensum spring where we found a beautifully restored Chapel where all our needs were cattered for.

The location was idealic. The owners where very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away and gave us a very generous welcome pack. We look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future

A lovely converted chapel, recently finished to the highest standard and located in very peaceful countryside which was perfect for dog walking.

The owners were very welcoming, leaving a lovely hamper and fresh flowers for our arrival and were very helpful throughout our stay The area is ideally located for trips to Fakeham and from there to the coast. There are plenty of pubs nearby, but booking is essential for the excellent Brisley Bell. We had a lovely stay at Wensum Spring and intend to return very soon.

A warm welcome on arrival.

Wensum Spring was full of character. Converted to a very high standard, with lots of thoughtful details. The quality of all fixtures and fittings, furnishings and equipment were first class. Eco friendly. The bath was the biggest I've ever used, fantastic. A choice of shower fittings were great. We were blessed with fantastic weather and spent our evenings in the private garden overlooking fields. The birdsong was amazing, can only describe as orchestral. Clear night skies with so many stars. Would highly recommend and could easily move in to such a dream property.

A warm welcome awaits from Stuart the owner,together with a generous hamper and fresh flower arrangements.Situated in a very peaceful,rural spot and pretty area and within easy reach of the coast and historic houses. Not forgetting a lovely little garden where you can relax in the sun, overlooking fields. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommended it.

Fabulous property, in a peaceful location.

Attentive hosts who made us very welcome. Close to local towns or days out at the coast. Norfolk has lots to offer. If you like to cycle lots of quiet roads and the property has secure cycle storage. Would highly recommend you won't be disappointed.

What a beautiful place!

A real sanctuary from the noise of the outside world. Well equipped and designed, I especially loved the dining table area where one could sit and work. The wood burner was a welcome new experience! A lovely place to relax in and enjoy the rural atmosphere. The walk to the church nearby, and the church itself was a true delight. My favourite was seeing the stunning sunsets at the back of the cottage together with listening to and spotting the different birds, especially the pheasants in the field nearby. A big thank you to the owners, who were really helpful and gracious, for this wonderful experience. I wish them well for the future. God bless.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wensum Springs, Stuart ( the owner) was very helpful and even brought us some fresh eggs over from his hens.

The bed was AMAZING!! Like sleeping on a marshmallow, so comfy and cozy. We only put the log burner on a couple of times, but remember to open the upstairs windows, as it gets very hot quite quickly. The property is well equipped, with everything you would need for a luxury stay. Lovely welcome hamper too. We shall be returning, and will be recommending you to all our family and friends.
