The extractor fan in the downstairs toilet does not work
We’re asked to separate our refuse, but there is only one bin in the kitchen and no information as to what constitutes recyclable and non recyclable, so at least one more bin would have been useful.
No bin liners provided – only the one that was already in the kitchen bin. We were a family of 10 and changed the bin liner four times – good job we brought ...

The fridge leaked water constantly while we were at the Little House, requiring a tea towel on the floor at the bottom of the fridge
Inside the fridge, about halfway up is a horizontal split
More drinking glasses would be nice – there were/are 24 wine glasses!
No oven glove!! So we had to make do with tea towels. One oven glove would be nice
Maybe a list of what kitchen items visitors need to bring would be useful – such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing up sponges etc.
The reclining chair in the lounge had an old babies bib and rubbish tucked into the rear of the chair
The U bend in the toilet of the large super king-sized room was black and obviously hadn’t been properly cleaned for a long time. So I bought bleach and bleached the toilet. We also bleached the u bends of all the other toilets in the house
Again, in the same room, the mattress had no mattress protector and the mattress was stained
The toilet flush buttons did/do not work properly in the other en-suite room or separate bathroom.
The duvet cover in the second en-suite bedroom was ripped, which wasn’t caused by anyone in our party
The drains outside of the sinks have weeds/plants growing out of them – potential for blockages
I would have expected better after paying £3,000 for the week
