Harvey's Holiday House

We had a great holiday at Harvey’s it was clean , had lots of things available to use , a fantastic location and had a very comfortable bed !

The house is in great location which meant we could walk to most places very easily without having to drive and park which was lovely. The garden was great and always had a shady spot and was secure which was good , a fan in each room was very welcome as we had a hot week . We highly recommend .

The property is in a great location.

The location was peaceful and quiet despite being close to everything. The property had everything you needed with lots of added extras to make the perfect beach holiday. The be owners had clearly put in a lot of effort. Minor negative the property did need a deep clean inside and out.

This house is very convenient for beach and town however it is not for 4 adults ( which I requested to Sykes, luckily only 3 of us came) and shouldn't be listed as so.

The second bedroom is very small as are the beds and duvets, there is no room between them to even turn around. You would struggle to get four adults comfortably watching TV in the living area too. Mostly it is cleaned well, just a few areas that need attention ( I have emailed owner direct but no reply). With a few tweaks this place would be 10/10 for a family with small children.

First impressions are always important.

We did not realise that the accommodation was very close to the amusement park, plus the noise at night time with motorcycles and noisy high powered cars. Did not see any police controlling the traffic. The garden had not been tidied up, grass needed cutting with dog feaces. The furniture should have been cleaned. Inside the house was clean and comfortable but what was missing was a tumble dryer.

Equipped very well for dogs.

Lots of blankets and towels. The lower stair gate was fabric and looked fragile so not suitable to use with a dog. A wooden gate would have been useful. The twin beds were narrow and the duvet covers were for children not for adult use. Otherwise, the cottage was comfortable and very well equipped .

Well what can we say?

If you want to have the perfect place to bring your dogs on holiday, this is the place! The owners (who are dog owners themselves) have thought of everything! Apart from being only 2 mins walk from the sea front, the accommodation has a downstairs utility room with all washing/cleaning facilities for cleaning up your 'Fur babies' toys, towels. bowls, throws for furniture, etc all provided, The Welcome pack is excellent! both for humans and dogs! Garden is also very much enclosed and safe for dogs! If we could give 11 out of 10 we would! Up and down the Norfolk coast are some excellent beaches all within a short driving distance! In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger 'We'll be back'! Thankyou for a brilliant stay!

Christmas decorations and welcome packs (including dogs) was a nice thought.

We loved our stay at Harvey's Holiday Home,it was lovely and clean, very comfortable.

It was in a great location with off street parking. Close to all amenities. A lovely little enclosed garden for our dog. The owners had thought of everything and gave us a welcome pack when we arrived and even gave our dog a lovely little dog pack. We were so impressed, we will definitely be back.

Arrived on a Saturday for a relaxing week away , was amazed at how close to the beach the property was literally 100 meter walk.

All the amenities you would want with a lovely well kept garden to the rear of the property, watch out for falling apples

Excellent location and house .

We had everything we needed for our 18 month old and our dogs It was .lovely to have the private enclosed garden and easy parking on the front was great . We all had the best time being so near to the beach was ideal . Highly recommend

The bed was the must comfortable bed I’ve stayed in at a holiday let If I had to give one con, it’s thr tiny basin in thr bathroom with thr glass shelf above , I kept knocking my head on it when trying to do my dental hygiene routine

We had a lovely time, house was clean, tidy and very close to all amenities.

Couple of minutes walk to beach, fair, pubs, supermarket and arcades. We took two dogs and the house was brilliant for them, the downstairs hall area and utility space was great for cleaning them down after the beach. There were blankets, towels and toys available to use for the dogs if required and outside hose also. I would say that the small bedroom is more suitable for children than adults, although my sister and husband did come down for a couple of days and managed ok. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with condiments and cleaning products. There was also a goody bag for the dogs and a goody box for the humans - very nice touch. All in all would highly recommend.

Accommodation was perfect for myself and 2 dogs, with off-road parking and the enclosed back garden (a bit muddy this time of year) the utility room was certainly a bonus.

The house was clean and well equipped with a lovely welcome pack for myself and doggies. Would certainly book again.

A better location for the town, seafront and cliff top walk would be difficult to find.

Onsite parking and good wi- fi made our holiday complete. The welcome package and very tasteful Christmas decorations were much appreciated, with only one small gripe, the milk sashets were out of date and curdled the tea, an easy oversight! If anyone reads this have a great holiday, we did.

Myself and my friend had a lovely stay at Harvey’s, loved the intricate touches which made it look beachy like the pictures and shells ,The welcome pack was well received and an unexpected nice surprise, was nice to know the short cut to Tesco.

So many positive things I could say but I’d be here all day. Overall we both had a lovely stay

This was a perfect house for us and our 2 dogs.

The property was very well equipped complete with a welcome goodie bag for us and the dogs! There is a very useful utility room with a large sink and shower for your mucky pups. The garden is completely enclosed and you can park outside. The sea front and beach is literally a one minute walk away. We would very happily stay here again.

Excellent, well located property.

Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly which is very important to us and our fur babies! Probably wouldn't book again, purely because the stairs. Our dog, sadly, isn't as good on his back legs now he is older. Great stay. Thank you.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harvey’s holiday house.

It was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!

Excellent welcome package including dog toy, collapsible bowl and bottle for water.

Really well thought out holiday home that far exceeded the clean and comfortable basics, there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there from the first aid kit to ‘emergency’ sachets of ketchup and a lovely welcome pack, The plentiful throws, dog towels, enclosed garden and hose pipe made it more than dog friendly and the beach toys to borrow for children and dogs was a great touch.

The introduction book explained that the owner wanted to provide the child and dog friendly beach holiday base that they found hard to find, they have certainly done that but at a quality we don’t usually expect from 2 dog friendly accommodation.

Lovely property in an ideal location.

We’ve had such a nice week staying at the property and would definitely rebook. Everything we needed was within a short walk, the property is well equipped and the garden was perfect with plenty of shade when it was too hot! Breakfast at the Ski Cafe & Bar was lovely and everyone we met were very friendly. Arrival package for us and the dog was perfect, thank you.

This property was good for (2 adults & 2 small dogs) but probably small for 4 adults.

Good location.

Very comfortable well equipped property well situated and with easy access to the attractions in the area.

The secure garden and the off road parking were a big bonus. Many thanks for the welcome pack much appreciated by us and our hound. We would happily recommend Harvey's and would return if planning a visit to the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Harvey’s Holiday House had everything needed for a family stay with our dog. Clean and well equipped. Comfy beds and the welcome pack appreciated. The garden was great as it had grass and was safely enclosed. The fair, promenade, beach, Sealife Centre and shops were all within short walking distance.

Cute little arrival package & gifts for our dog. Lovely enclosed garden, which was super secure for the dog. Decorated nicely, & very clean throughout. So close to the sea & town centre. Was a great place to stay.

We will be coming back again. The house had everything we needed, well equipped, comfortable, clean and the location was perfect. Was lovely to have a secure garden for the children and dogs to play in.

A perfect break for adults baby and dogs The house was extremely comfortable and clean Everything in the house from the welcome packs to the well thought out equipment was first class We loved the central location with the easy walk to the beach shops and restaurants The garden was really safe and sheltered for dogs to play.

We loved our stay .

It was great having the garden for the dogs and kids and a super location so near to everything , most days we didn’t have to use the car ! Everything was clean modern and comfortable and the kingsize bed was lovely..

Harvey’s House is in a brilliant location.

A few minutes walk from the beach, shops and pubs/restaurants. It’s tastefully furnished with high quality furnishings and appliances and has everything that humans and dogs need! The garden is secure and there’s a utility room with very useful sink for washing muddy paws. There’s also bowls, towels, throws and toys which was a great help. I’d definitely recommend Harvey’s House.

Harvey’s holiday home was excellent a home from home The property has everything you need, the quality of facilities are superb, the bedding is Egypt cotton and spotless Sue the owner is really helpful and nothing is too much trouble, if you any queries she responds quickly The garden is secure for your dog if you travel with one I would highly recommend you book a stay there you won’t be disappointed
