    “We enjoyed our stay at Phloxhaven.”

    We found everything to be as described and car parking at the property was a bonus. The village had all the amenities you needed within a short walk of the cottage and the river was located at the bottom of the lane. Simon was most helpful to deal with any queries. Would recommend this property and this lovely location.

Perched in the delightful village of Reedham, Norfolk, is this characterful, semi-detached cottage, Phloxhaven. Accessed via a quiet country lane that leads down to Riverside, Phloxhaven is a great base for families looking to get away from the stresses of everyday life and explore the Norfolk Broads. Dust off those cooking books in the kitchen, providing all the essentials to prepare a light snack or hearty lunch, before settling down at the dining table or in the garden for alfresco dining. Leading through from the kitchen is the bright living room, home to a striking open fireplace, three-seater sofa, and armchair, ideal for relaxing nights in. Whisk away upstairs to discover the bedrooms, the master houses a double bed, and the second bedroom has two singles, each wonderfully presented and serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. When you’re ready to explore, there are three, dog-friendly pubs within walking distance of the cottage, ideal for when you fancy a pint or night off cooking. Elsewhere in the village there is a post office that doubles as a tearoom serving hot and cold beverages, whilst there is also a traditional fish and chip shop if you fancy a quick bite. Reedham is also home to Pettitts Animal Adventure Park, brilliant for a day out with the children, or for the adults, head down to the Humpy Dumpty brewery to sample some local beers. A pretty, former coastal village set on the banks of the River Yare on the fringes of The Broads in Norfolk, East Anglia. Reedham offers a small range of amenities, including a couple of wonderful, highly-rated riverside pub/restaurants. This is a fantastic area of England, with something for everybody nearby including the beautiful city of Norwich, the dramatic Broads and Mid-Yare National Nature Reserve for you outdoor enthusiasts. Slightly further afield lie the two popular seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, both with wide ranges of amenities and stunning beaches with lots of entertainment. A lovely village in a wonderful area of England.
