Loved the property, immaculate inside, and lovely large enclosed garden for our Labrador.

Everything supplied that you could possibly need. Loved the decking area at the back, perfect for doing my Tai Chi in the morning. Really close to the beach, which our dog loved. First time he has ever beed in the water is here at Snettisham. Would definitely visit here again, and recommend to anyone who wants a lovely relaxed and quiet break.

It was our first trip to Norfolk and won’t be our last.

Tawnys Roost was a really well equipped cottage with everything thing we needed for our stay. The location was nice and peaceful, a short walk to the beach and also easy to get to the other towns and villages along the coast. Ralph

Fabulous accommodation, very well presented and very clean with all the requirements catered for.

Overall a very nice lodge but would have liked a bedroom tv and we did not appreciate sitting at the dining table right next to the bathroom door, no separation between the two.

Also even though we knew it was loose stone outside a path alongside lodge would seem to make sense, being disabled it was difficult hence the reason we didn't put dustbin out, in 50 years of holidays this was the 1st time ever asked to do so!

Absolutely blown away by this stunning holiday let tawneys roost,all you could wish for,ideal location very private,close to beach and shops/bars,would highly recommend to anyone with dogs and children very secure,only 10 min drive to hunstanton very nice village for everything you need,definitely would come back.

An excellent warm and cosy cottage, equipped to a very high standard with everything you need and more.

Very dog friendly with towels and a secure garden. Great walks to either the beach, nature reserve and woods. Welcoming dog loving hosts Adele and Joe ensure you have a great stay. Highly recommended and after over 30 years of cottage stays this is one the best.

The accommodation is super as it is very well equipped, walkable distance to the beach and very clean.

Adele is very helpful and responds very qucikly to any questions we had. This is our second visit this year and we will be back next year.

Ideal position near beach and village. Near enough to main road to make travel to attractions easy whilst feeling private and rural. Very clean and well ordered. Contained everything promised and that we needed. We had a great week helped by really good weather. We will return!

Spent a lovely week at Tawny’s roost.

Cosy bungalow with enclosed garden to keep the dogs safe. The area is very special with the bird watching areas and the varied walks along the sea defences, fields , local woods and the very long beach. There’s loads of places to visit all within an hours drive from the accommodation. Some nice local pubs in Snettisham were well worth a visit. The beds were a little hard, so we had some stiff backs in the morning, but we would definitely love to come back to the roost again.

Amazing from start to finish, cottage was in a wonderful position and was well stocked.

Will definitely go again.

The property was perfect, with everything you could possibly need and more. It's in a great location for exploring the North Norfolk Coast. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and highly recommend.

Had a fabulous stay.

The accommodation has everything you need. Lovely location. Walking to and along the beech. The beech Fish and Chips are amazing. A visit to Snettisham village Sunday lunch at the Rose and Crown, recommend booking. The farm feeding the dear, lovely cafe on sight and play area. Had a lovely relaxing week.

Great comms with Adele too so appreciate that. Only slight issue was the pebbles & our Golden Retriever. She has arthritis and struggled on them.

This was our return visit Tawny’ Roost and we found again the cottage was very clean and tidy with everything you would need for your stay.

The garden was totally enclosed and very safe for our dog. We had a very enjoyable time very comfortable beds for a good nights sleep and could highly recommend this property for your holidays. Well done Adele and Joe for your excellent hospitality Allan

We have had five holidays in Norfolk and this holiday property is by far the best we have stayed in.

Everything has been thought through and is to a very high standard. Loved it!!!!

Tawny’s Roost is a beautifully converted top quality bungalow, clean and comfortable with modern facilities that deserves a 5 star rating and was perfect for our weeks stay in Norfolk.

The bungalow is surrounded by a good size, secure gravel and decking garden that was ideal for our cocker spaniel to run around and park our car on. We had a particularly warm week (30c) but the inside remained cool throughout our stay. Easy walking access to the beach and local woods as well as a perfect base for exploring North Norfolk by car with its many lovely villages and towns. The owners, Adele and Joe left us some lovely treats and rang to say we could arrive earlier if we wanted. We would also like to thank them for being so kind and considerate when we had to change our travel plans at the last minute in September due to illness.

Tawny’s Roost is one of the best holiday cottage’s that we have stayed in.

It is beautifully decorated, very well maintained and furnished. Super warm and comfortable as well . We have never stayed in such a well equipped property and everything you could possibly need for a holiday let and more was provided.The owners were welcoming and helpful

This was our second visit and it felt like coming to our second home.

The welcome pack was fantastic and the cottage in excellent condition, just like last time. Both Adele and Joe were very welcoming and kept us up todate with texts prior to arrival. Definitely planning on returning again. The cottage is a great base to explore this part of Norfolk.

Adele rang us to let us know the property was ready earlier than we expected, which was a bonus.

We also really appreciated the "welcome" refreshments. The property is a real "home from home". There was nothing lacking. It was very comfortable, and we made good use of the garden. The secure parking was great. For birdwatchers, it is very close to RSPB Snettisham. On several days, we had a late afternoon fly past of geese and cormorants. It is one of the best self catering properties we have visited. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful, the property owners were too, nothing was too much trouble and went above and beyond helping us when our car went wrong.

On opening the door to the bungalow on our arrival we found a found a very clean and well presented accommodation.

There was everything you need within the property for your stay everything was good quality and the beds were very comfortable. The garden is totally enclosed so if you take your dog it’s very safe.

The welcome pack just added to the experience. It had everything we needed and when you closed the gates you were in your very own peaceful oasis. Had to request help from the owner and they responded within a few minutes . Great holiday.

It has literally everything you need for a nice break. All the amenities have been fantastically thought through. The secure garden was ideal for the dog. It’s a short hop to the beach and the woods and is situated perfect to travel up and down the coast. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat

A beautifilly presented holiday home, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for a winter break.

Adele allowed us to check in early which was great as we could unload and then take the dog for a walk in the woods. Thankyou.

Loved the property.

Very modern, clean, cosy and comfortable. Very secure garden if you are taking a dog. A great location from which to visit lots of places nearby. We really enjoyed our walks to the beach from the property. Enjoyed sitting outside on the decking. We were able to enter the property earlier than stated which was lovely after we received a call from Adele. We definitely recommend this property. Would love to return.

Lovely beautiful property with everything you need, home from home.

When looking to book this property, the only thing we were unsure about was that there were no reviews to see what others thought about this home.

We needn't have worried. This was a real home from home. Very well appointed and with everything we needed and more. It looked newly refurbished and well maintained and was really clean throughout. There were many personal touches, including books,games, information on the area and a welcome basket. Infact, Adele the owner contacted us to let us know we could enter the property much earlier than our scheduled time. In summary we have paid much more for a lot less when booking holiday homes in the past. We also found North Norfolk to be both beautiful and relaxing and this home was ideally placed to explore it.
