“The barn was stunning, the view from the dining table is beautiful, a welcome pack was left consisting of bacon, eggs, bread, butter, milk and cookies which was lovely.”
The lounge area is a great space.
However we did have a few issues; we arrived for check-in at 3pm as detailed in the booking confirmation, however cleaners were there and stated check-in was at 4pm. We also woke up on the first morning with no heating or hot water, we had to wait until 9am to call the booking agency and then wait for the owner to get in contact with housekeeping to fix the problem. This was resolved within an hour.
It is also worth noting that the parking was tight, not easily offsite parking for 2 vehicles. The small double bed listed, really is small and not ideal for a couple either.
Really sorry again regarding the mix up with check in. This was entirely our fault, as we hadn’t notified our cleaners of the change of check in time. Regarding the heating, it was completely unforeseen and all we could do is react quickly, which I feel we did. Apologies again for the inconvenience caused, and hope you enjoyed your stay despite those initial issues. Rgds, Ian & Clair
