Bridge Barn

Wonderful stay.

Lovely surroundings and only a few miles drive to Cromer and Sherringham. Even our dog quickly settled in. Point to note, sitting room even better than the pictures. Recommend taking a walk and discovering the hidden lake in the woods.

Lovely place to stay.

Clean, comfortable accommodation. Generous welcome pack, eggs, bacon, milk, tea, coffee, strawberries, bread, butter and cookies. Fantastic views over fields and sea. Easy to work all appliances. Perfect place to stay.

The property was extremely well fitted for guests with good quality furniture, fixtures and fittings.

Property was fully described in all the literature and ideally suited the pair of us.

The barn was stunning, the view from the dining table is beautiful, a welcome pack was left consisting of bacon, eggs, bread, butter, milk and cookies which was lovely.

The lounge area is a great space. However we did have a few issues; we arrived for check-in at 3pm as detailed in the booking confirmation, however cleaners were there and stated check-in was at 4pm. We also woke up on the first morning with no heating or hot water, we had to wait until 9am to call the booking agency and then wait for the owner to get in contact with housekeeping to fix the problem. This was resolved within an hour. It is also worth noting that the parking was tight, not easily offsite parking for 2 vehicles. The small double bed listed, really is small and not ideal for a couple either.

Beautiful property.

A very thoughtful hamper left with plenty of items for a cooked breakfast and essentials, treats for our dogs and Christmas sweets. Great location Great choice for our Christmas break. Close to beaches. Slight downside - take plenty of wood for the wood burner as the radiator heating system timer comes on/off for a short while but it’s impossible to override to get any heating if you want ti hunker down and stay in. Same for the hot water. Main bedroom shower plenty of power but at most the water was luke warm - but other showers were very good. Bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate as was the cleanliness everywhere. All in all a beautiful place to stay. If they can get the heating right it will be fantastic.

We felt at home straight away.

A welcome pack including bacon, sausages, eggs and bread and butter, milk, shortbreads were a generous inclusion. And a jar of celebrations!

Very comfortable and well equipped.

Ideally situated location - easy access to beaches and North Norfolk. Directions to property and key access all straightforward. Parking was a bit tight for two vehicles.

Absolutely gorgeous property with beautiful views.

It was wet and windy whilst we were there so putting on the log fire and hankering down made it magical.

This is a really roomy and attractively appointed barn construction.

It is warm and comfortable although the beds in the twin bed room were apparently quite hard. It is a good central point for holidaying in North Norfolk and surrounded by lovely countryside. All in all a very good choice. The only downside is that the cooking utensils (which are adequate if you are going to be cooking ready-meals in the microwave) are lacking in things like serving/cooking dishes and casseroles etc.

Very comfortable stay with all the home comforts in a beautiful country setting.

We had a lovely holiday at Bridge Barn and on the whole it met our needs.

However the parking was limited and less than we had believed. The third bedroom with the 4 foot bed was not really suitable for adults and was a bit of a shock! A super building with lots of nice features but we felt it more suitable for 4 and needed clearer info on the parking.

Everyone enjoyed our recent stay at Bridge Barn.

It was a bonus to find a washing machine in the property, which wasn't listed in the property details. The only downside we found was the size of the double bed. It looked like a three quarter size and too small for 2 adults. Otherwise it would have been 10 out of 10.
