A very good location to explore the area.

The hosts were very affable and when i couldn’t get the telly to work, Jane was on it immediately. There is a bus stop almost immediately by the property going west to Peterborough and east to Norwich. I took it to Kings Lynn and it was great. It didn’t do many stops and was very comfortable. So highly recommended. As for the property, for me, there were a few ‘niggles’. The kitchen had everything you could require, anything i needed it was there but i think maybe the saucepans should be replaced. I could not get comfortable in the lounge on the very large sofa. It didn’t have much ‘oomph’ about it but i eventually found myself a reasonably comfy patch in the corner, using a foot rest from the sun room. I tried a few times to watch something on the Iplayer without success. Jane did say the wifi is shared with next door, so streaming TV is impossible and should not be advertised that it is (i’m thinking Netflix). The chairs in the sun room were made of a PVC type of material and were a bit tatty. Every time i sat on them, little pieces fell off and i found myself sweeping up every time, so i gave up sitting in there. The garden was lovely with beautiful hanging baskets and very secure for the dog. The only issue here was a dirty patio. It needed a sweep and a power wash to make it as gleaming as the house. Upstairs, the bathroom was very clean and a decent size, BUT the shower was pathetic. The water is notoriously hard in Norfolk, so you’re never going to get a full lather, but getting some water to attempt to do so would be something. Personally i would take out the useless bath and put in a walk in power shower, as the water from the boiler is gloriously hot. Also a grab rail is needed, i found myself having to heave myself in and out using the bathroom door. The situation, as it is, is quite dangerous. A very decent and thoughtful touch was a little plug in light in the hall by the bathroom, to keep on at night, to save stumbling and falling into the bathroom during the night. The bed was comfy too and i slept well but i did find the topper mattress seemed to have a mind of its own. The little welcome package was very nice, although i’d brought all the items with me! All in all a very, very, clean place and (almost) perfect. Thank you xx

Then property was much better than I expected.

Very luxurious. My only concerns were 1) the broadband was very slow. I was unable to attend a Zoom meeting. 2) The front door lock was difficult to use. Needs oiling? On the other hand the back garden and the hanging baskets were an absolute knockout.

The cottage was exceptional. Everything you could want. The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was an ideal base to explore around the area.

Jane and Brod were really welcoming and lovely and we felt very relaxed in the cottage which was spotless.

Lovely cottage with great facilities.

Loved the fireplace and sitting in the small lounge by the garden in the morning sun. My elderly dog loved the large ground floor and the easy access into the garden at the rear of the cottage too. It was also very quiet so had a great nights sleep. Jane was very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic location with a fantastic cottage, has everything you'll need for a very comfortable stay.

The owners were very very helpful and supportive, could not ask for more. Will definitely return back for another great break.

The property is perfect. It is like a second home, very relaxed with beautiful flowers and ornaments. I would love to stay in the winter when the log burner is going such bliss. We will definitely visit again and again. XXX

The property is clean and comfortable and the sun room looks over the garden. The property is well designed with plenty of storage and its great that our dog was welcome too. Would definitely book again should we return to the area. Many thanks for the welcome pack which was much appreciated and a nice touch!

Had a lovely week at Cameron’s Cottage.

There’s everything you could need for a lovely relaxing week. Great outside space and lovely little snug off the sitting room. Well equipped Cottage and a kitchen containing everything you could need to cook at home. The lovely host also supplied us with a welcome bottle of wine and a few other bits to make our first night extra special. A lovely cottage I’d highly recommend.

Lovely cottage and very clean.

A good welcome pack with milk, tea, coffee, bread, jams and a bottle of wine. Good off road parking and a nice enclosed garden. Even though you could take dogs the cottage did not have a dog smell. Our only concern was the beds. They were soft and saggy and needed replacing. Ideally situated for visiting north west Norfolk and only a 5 minute walk into Swaffham. We had a lovely week with fantastic weather.

Hosts were wonderful and welcoming.

The only thing that would stop us booking up again was the bed standards which is such a shame because everything else was perfect. The beds were not comfortable at all because they were sub standard beds. Comparing them to the rest of the cottage I feel that replacing the beds would make the stay 10 out of 10.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful as are the neighbours. We thought the cottage was really well equipped and it's location was great for exploring Norfolk.

Had a lovely time in this beautiful cottage.

The cottage itself is great and Jane and Brod were very helpful and friendly. The place was genuinely welcoming to dogs - which is not always so. Brod keeps the garden beautifully - we are pinching his cherry espalier idea! They introduced us to the idea of adding raw cider vinegar to the dog's water bowl to stop yellowing of the grass, and provided us with a bottle to use. A tip we will use back home.

The furniture is dated and could do with updating - the brown couch in particular as it seems to have lost its substance. Photos don't show how tight the parking is if all cottages are occupied. However owners accommodated our trailer and let us park it on site bearing in mind it was a small trailer. Owners live on site and their garden runs along back, also fence between cottage and next door is only 5ft approx in places hence garden very overlooked. Cottage description pet friendly but we were asked to put spoonful of apple cider vinegar in dogs water. This immediately indicated to us it was pet friendly with conditions. As this in cottage folder probably best to leave it at that and not mention to new arrivals. In conclusion a clean cottage on outskirts of Swaffham. Garden very overlooked so if you like privacy probably not for you.

Clean and tidy. Nicely situated 1 mile from Swaffham town centre, easy access to all roads to travel around Norfolk. Dog friendly our dog enjoyed his holiday too.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, had everything we could wish for.

Very friendly lady, the welcome pack was much appreciated. Only thing we would say is that the brown sofa has lost its seat padding so was not as comfortable as it once was. Apart from that we couldn’t fault anything.

It was very well equipped and even included a basket of logs for the fire. The cottage was an easy walk into town and the parking was a bonus. The owner provided a very good welcome pack which was much appreciated. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

This was a lovely cottage, well presented and furnished with pretty much everything you'd need from towels and washing up liquid to a welcome pot of milk and small loaf of bread.

Jane was a very welcoming and responsive owner, and it was a perfect base for our family holiday with our new puppy in tow. Would thoroughly recommend

Cameron's Cottage was very much a home from home.

It had everything we could have thought of needing. The kitchen was really well equipped if you did wish to cater for yourself - even down to a slow cooker for those winter stews after a day out. The fire was a real bonus for a cosy night in, although the cottage itself was lovely and warm. The owners are really friendly and on site which was a bonus to find out about local sites. The cottage itself is well positioned for a short stroll to local shops and pub but also to see most Norfolk sites. Lovely waking up to rabbits in the front field. Would definitely recommend.

We spent a very chilled out New Year at this beautifully appointed and furnished cottage.

In particular the sun lounge was a lovely and peaceful place to relax. We were greeted by the owner who very kindly left us bread, milk, biscuits, tea and coffee and a bottle of fizz to celebrate the New Year - all much appreciated. Having Netflix to watch was an unexpected surprise too. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby.

Cottage was walking distance into Swaffham.

This is a compact and cosy cottage which is well equipped.

The welcome pack was a great touch and Jane and her husband were really friendly and helpful. We had lovely weather so made good use of the sun room. The garden and terrace were very pretty but very open to next door’s garden. I would recommend this cottage as it’s comfortable and in a good location for touring Norfolk. It could, however, do with some updating, especially of the bathroom and double bedroom wardrobe.

We had a lovely week in Cameron Cottage, well equipped , very clean & cosy.

Lovely rooms to relax in after some hard walking through the Norfolk woods & Stiffkey marshes. Nice to overlook fields with sheep grazing away aswell , position had a nice open feel about it. Was met on arrival by Jane who showed us everything we needed to know . So all good. Week was over only too quick!!

Everything we needed in the cottage was supplied which is a first for us.

The location is perfect, a short walk to the shops and pubs or drive out to various places of interest, so much within an hours drive. Jane and Brod are really friendly and helpful.

Jane & Brod were fantastic hosts, Jane met us as soon as we arrived & explained everything about the cottage & where everything was.
