Crab Corner

Hard to find.

Needs name on gate. Ginnel to property smelled ,could do with cleaning. Bins not emptied while we were there or previous week.

The property is great only down side was the bins hadn't been emptied for a while so with the heat they smelled really bad as you entered the property through the alley the old rubbish in the bins had maggots in them so they had been there a while which upset my daughter( not our rubbish ) and the flies were bad .

shame we did have a good stay the car parking although a good point was very tight in a big car you struggle to open the drivers door not great with a bad back

Couldn't want anything more from the cottage, however the garden could do with some TLC and maybe some lighting

A really lovely warm apartment, well equipped and close to the town centre.

Very clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a parking space. Would definitely recommend.

Crab Corner was very well equipped including washing and dishwasher tablets.

However, we thought it was unusual not to have a welcome pack. A basic pack including milk and a few coffee machine capsules........, would have been nice. Location and parking space are a bonus. The alley to the apartment was very dark and we both tripped on the first step. We had a lovely time and weather was great.

Had a lovely stay at Crab Corner, everything we needed and more, the Christmas tree was a nice touch when we walked in.

Parking space was a bonus. We will definitely love to go back another time, thankyou!

Great place - once we were able to find it.

Definitely more directional instruction needed. Even saying that the entrance is actually in Chapel Yard would have helped. Luckily we arrived before dark or otherwise we might have had to sleep in the car!

Crab corner is quite simply perfect, located just away from the main hub and the private off road parking is a bonus.

The apartment is very well presented, well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed long walks along the picturesque shore to Holkham and Stiffkey. Also visited the numerous independent shops, pubs & eateries Wells has to offer. We loved our stay.

A lovely comfortable property with good outside space and allocated parking.

Parking would be quite tight for a large car. Access could be difficult for the less mobile as property is accessed via a narrow passageway and a flight of wooden steps. It’s in a good location, very close to the harbour, beach and Staithe street. Very well equipped inside and if there was more than one person the extra toilet would be very useful. Comfortable bed and good quality bed linen. I do feel the main bedroom would benefit from the addition of curtains or a roman blind as the Venetian blind didn’t keep out enough light for me. However I had a great stay and will definitely be back

The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and clean.

The water pressure is very low. It's difficult to set the temperature for the shower. One of the grab handles on the side of the bath is not actually attached, which could be dangerous. The front door is very difficult to open and close. The approach through the alley way and up the stairs is not very easy, although this is mentioned in the literature. The approach is also not very clean. A lot of leaf matter fell on our car while it was parked there and it took a lot of cleaning to get rid of it all. So, the outside lets the cottage down.

Loved the place.

Great location for walking to the beach or into town and parking was really handy. Arrived Saturday afternoon, booked for next year on the Sunday morning.

Crab Corner is a lovely apartment however on stripping the beds to come home the mattress protector on the double bed had a big stain on it which was not a nice thing to see as i had been laid on that all week.

When i stripped the bottom sheet off the single bed there was a big mark on the bottom of the sheet which you don't see as it was tucked under the mattress at the bottom of the bed. It also states in the book that there are torches in each bedroom but we couldn't find any which were essential for letting the dog out at night. But after saying all that it really is a lovely place.

Really warm welcoming apartment to stay in.

Cleanliness was fabulous and plenty of equipment provided. We had absolutely lovely stay, and would highly recommend. Only positive things to say about this property.

Inside Crab Cottage is lovely!

It is very clean and comfortable. There is everything in the property that would be required for a very pleasant stay. However outside - the approach and stairs require some TLC and currently, the door lock takes a minimum of 10 minutes manipulation to allow entrance to the property. However, the owner has assured us that the door is to be replaced in two weeks time. This will make the property perfect for a lovely stay. Conveniently placed for all the Wells-next-the-Sea attractions.

We had such a lovely week in this beautiful cottage.

Very comfortable cottage, crisp white bedding, had a lovely relaxing time, had a problem with door, but found they are having a new one this year, would like to come back in the future.

The apartment is in a great position to stroll to the harbour.

Well equipped and clean. The parking bay is essential in Wells and takes away all the cost and stress. The garden is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring a beautiful area. We would highly recommend as a great holiday base.

A wonderful week spent at Crab Corner.

A beautiful little cottage a short walk away from the harbour and shops. The property was spacious and clean and beds were very comfortable. There was plenty to do and see in the surrounding areas - we did not want to return home. Many thanks for a memorable break.

Such a handy property for easy access to Wells town centre and walks to beach.

Slightly noisy but that is to be expected for the convenience of being so close to town ( I think I saw a planning application for changing windows so this should help block out noise). Super comfortable inside, great facilities in kitchen. Definitely recommend.

A lovely “home from home”, well equipped and very comfortable with a lovely little garden, and easy walking distance to the town, harbour and coastal path.

. We would love to visit again and would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay.

The only negative points are you need to make it clear that it is not suitable for disabled or elderly people due to the steps leading to and from the property being to steep. Also need additional lighting in the passageway leading to the property. There were lights there but not working need to check regularly to make sure they are working. Hand rail required up to the bathroom and cloakroom.

A well presented apartment situated close to beach and main local attractions.

The apartment was home from home with the owners thinking of every detail. Comfortable beds (very important after lots of walking with the dog), wel set out kitchen with all the amenities and nice comfy sofa and chair to chill.

One allocated parking spaces which was ideal for me and very close to the apartment. Apartment is very spacious, well furnished and light throughout to a very high standard. Beds were very comfy and had good night sleep, only negative point was that the twin bedroom is tight for space, with all the furniture however this is very minor point. Overall great apartment, great facilities within, nice garden area and fabulous location, would highly recommend !!

An absolutely superb apartment, clean and very comfortable.

A perfect location just outside the town centre - near to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. My family loved it, would thoroughly recommend.
