Situated down a quiet country lane and nestled into the foot of a hill, Dairy Cottage enjoys far reaching, south facing views out across the tranquil Norfolk landscape.
Its unique spot allows guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful part of Norfolk, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads National Park.
Guests can watch wildlife from the windows, or step out of the door onto quiet country lanes and footpaths for walks in the local area.
The large kitchen diner has an electric range cooker and is fully equipped for cooking family meals, with fridge-freezer, microwave and a dishwasher.
The open plan dining/living room has space for all guests to dine together or to relax on the sofas and enjoy games, or the Smart TV.
The master bedroom is on the ground floor and has a king-sized bed, as well as an additional TV and sofa, and has the benefit of the ensuite bathroom with roll top bath.
Up the winding wooden staircase are two further bedrooms, both with twin single beds and dorma windows providing views out across the fields towards the twinkling lights of Great Yarmouth in the distance.
One bedroom has an en-suite WC and hand basin, while across the landing is a shared shower room with WC, basin and heated towel rail.
From the kitchen you step straight out into a small picket-fenced garden, with furnished patio area, charcoal BBQ and a small lawn.
Beyond the enclosed area is a further private lawn and then just over the quiet lane is a large open meadow leading down to a pond, which is a shared space available for holiday guests to enjoy.
This child and dog friendly cottage has off-road parking for 2 cars and is just a short drive away from Caister beach, making it the perfect base for families looking to explore the beauty of the Norfolk coast.
Note: This property is link-attached to Flint Cottage (Ref 1157370) and these two neighbouring cottages can be booked together, to provide flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests.
However, please note that Flint Cottage does not accept pets.
Note: Due to the rural location of this cottage, WIFI can be unreliable and speed is likely to be slower than many are used to.

Lovely well-maintained and spacious cottage.
Exactly as described.
We had a fantastic stay.
The accommodation is in a really convenient location, yet still feels quiet and relaxing. It was spotlessly clean, light, bright and airy, and perfect for bringing the dog. The welcome pack was the icing on the cake! There are plenty of local amenities nearby, and it’s an easy walk to the beach and into Great Yarmouth, which made the location ideal for us. The only couple of minor niggles were that the Wi Fi was terrible and almost unusable, and there was no corkscrew or bottle opener, so perhaps pack one if you’re planning to enjoy a drink! Other than that, we couldn’t fault it. In fact, we loved it enough that we’ve already booked to come back next year. We’re even looking forward to embracing the lack of Wi Fi and calling it a digital detox! A lovely place to stay and we’d definitely recommend it.
We had a lovely time at the property it was clean and comfortable it was great looking over the fields we will recommend it to family will go again as we enjoyed our stay.
