Beach House

The house was very well equipped and the location was fabulous.

Just open the back gate from the private garden and your on the sand dunes to the beach . The walled back garden had top quality garden furniture and was ideal for dining alfresco . There were 10 of us and a dog and the house was large and comfortable will definitely recommend it to friends. Also lots of parking a nearby shop and the local pub serving meals is only a very short walk away in the centre of the village with its houses with thatched roofs . So peaceful and it was bank holiday week

An absolute gem!

Perfect for a family gathering. Plenty of space for everyone. The dining table being the perfect hub for catching up. Loads of crockery and cooking equipment making it a real home from home. Comfy beds, plenty of towels. Fabulous seating areas, yes there is more than 1 so you can follow the sun if you choose. Safe enclosed outdoor space for the dog and young child. Beach within minutes which was great. Lovely little village with a few amenities. Enough to keep us all occupied for the weekend.

Lovely house with everything one would need to cook for a group.

We truly enjoyed our stay and found Winterton to be a lovely village. Great tea room, tasty fish and chips and a convenience shop nearby. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic Easter weekend The beach house was gorgeous, the location couldn’t have been better, and the whole family felt right at home.

We loved the walk to the beach, exploring the little shacks, and seeing those amazing seals ,it really topped off the perfect family getaway. Thank you for being so kind and for looking after us so well. We’ll definitely be back

A really great find .

Not easy to please 10 girls but we were all impressed by the house . Clean, tidy , very well equipped for a large party with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware . Basically everything you may need has been well thought out . Location was also great . Literally out the back door , over the sand dunes , which is an easy walk and your on the beautiful beach in 5 mins or out the front door and go the road way which is also 5 mins to beach . Local pub,shop,tearoom,fish and chip shop . Really lovely little village with a lovely community buzz . If you book the beach house you won’t be disappointed.

When we walked in it felt very welcoming and homely, it was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

The location was excellent with all the village amenities on your door step and a bus stop just a few steps away.

Stunning walks across the dunes and not far at all to the beach, the village shop and tea room, pub and fish and chip shop. Highly recommend this. There was 9 of us and one furry friend. Each one of us said we will definitely be back.

We recently had a fantastic stay at the Beach House.

The house and gardens were very spacious and secure for the three dogs. The house is well equipped and the beds and lounge furniture very comfortable. The parking space is amazing. Location wise, the house couldn't be closer to the sea, the back gate leads out straight to the dunes and then the beach and from the front door it's a short walk to a small convenience store and the fish and chip shop!

Really well appointed house.

Ideal for our 3 generation family stay with 3 dogs. Wonderfully located being direct onto the dunes. Secure garden was wonderful for my two elderly dogs so they could just potter around and we knew they couldn't get out. The gardens were sun traps. We couldn't have asked for more.

Such a great place, my family and I really loved the location and space of the house.

It was like a hidden gem, offering close access to the beach and having a convenient store within a short walking distance. Even the dog had her best time ever, going for long walks every morning and a swim in the sea. Seals were spotted every day late and early mornings. Such a relaxing time, definitely recommend it, food places aren’t far away a the Pleasure Beach at Great Yarmouth was great fun for grandchildren who had a very busy day going on rides.

We had a fantastic family holiday celebrating a big birthday.

The house had so much space, was well equipped and the gardens and patios were a great size for the five children in the party. Access to the beach was an absolute winner and we spent many happy hours there. We would recommend Poppy’s cafe in the village, Martham Ferry Boatyard and Thrigby Hall and Bewilderwood for the kids. We hope we can come again!

Lovely house, a real home from home.

Very well equipped and clean. Plenty of room for three generations and facilities covered all mobilities. The children loved the ice machine. Well situated in the village, shop, cafe, post office and chippy just around the corner. Out of the back gate and a short walk over the dunes to a very long stretch of sandy beach. Plenty of parking by the house. Lots to do in the area away from the beach. A brilliant holiday house.

Very flexible accommodation for eight of us (plus a dog) in a location that is very relaxing.

In easy walking distance to not only a sandy beach, but also a convenience store, fish and chip shop and, of course, a pub!!

Situated in a very nice village, with everything you need.

Beach House was thoughtfully equiped with everything you might need.

There were 11 of us just for 2 nights.We only cooked a traditional English breakfast the cooks thought maybe an airfryer would have been useful We.had a takeaway fish and chips from the village.The house was very clean ,the furniture was comfortable, location perfect.The outside space was very well thought out .

This property was perfect for us.

Our party of 10 ranged from an under 1 year old baby to grandparents in their late 80’s and the provision of downstairs bedrooms with en-suites and a ground floor wet room was ideal for those less steady on their feet. The 3 dogs we took loved the outside space and direct access to the dunes behind was great for walks with the dogs. A brilliant holiday was had by all.

Absolutely brilliant property for a family break.

Not only did the different sides of the family have their own part of the house, there was perfect accommodation for a wheelchair user. The location was better than any we've had before, access straight on to the dunes and so peaceful. The village had everything we needed - shop, tearoom and pub!! I would recommend it to any family as a base.

Beach house was just everything that we would have wanted.

Furnished to a very high standard and well equipped. The dogs and the children all enjoyed running around in the garden which was secure. Short walk to a most beautiful beach . We throughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back in the future.

We had a fantastic holiday in the Beach House.

Although we had great weather, which helped, the house itself suited our needs admirably. We were a party of 6 adults, 3 children and 4 dogs. There was ample room and the house was very well equipped. It was marvellous to go out of the back gate straight on to the dunes and then the beach without having to use the car. The property was very secure for the dogs and very peaceful. There was plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and a large dining table. We loved Winterton -on-sea. There is a convenience shop, cafe, pub and fish and chip shop all within a short walk from the house. I would highly recommend Beach House for a holiday with a large group and would love to return in the future. Vanessa

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house - it was everything you could have wished for - being able to go out the back gate and walk to the beach was the icing on the cake !

This house is perfect for a family gathering, we had mum and dad with us so down stairs was perfect for them with the wet room and toilets facilities in ever room!

So close to the local pub, tea room and fish and chip shop! The beach is just a small walk over the dunes which was great for the dogs we had with us, however they are still sleeping now 2 days later. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great location with the added bonus of the unspoilt beach just a 5 minute stroll from the back gate.

There was plenty of space in the lounge and kitchen to accommodate the 5 couples. We all had a wonderful time. We visited Horsey Gap and saw the Seals sunbathing! Food and beverages were very tasty in the Fisherman’s Return, and the fish & Chip shop also delicious! We will be back!

The owner was exceptional as was the property ,well equipped and very clean.

Facilities spot on, location fabulous so close to beach and other amenities, local pub, tea shop and local convenience store. My Texan family loved it. Property perfect for large family to be together cannot recommend enough Really accessible for less able bodied people Our dogs loved the enclosed garden sand dunes and beach We will be back

We have just had the best Christmas staying in Jane’s place, as a group of 11 we couldn’t have asked for more.

The location is gorgeous as backs right onto the dunes so great for walking the dogs and seeing the seals. The house is really well equipped so plenty of kitchen ware for a huge Christmas dinner which was great. We each had our own bathroom and the beds were comfy too. Honestly couldn’t fault it! Jane went to a huge effort to decorate for Christmas too and lovey welcoming added extras were really appreciated so would definitely stay again, we loved it! Thanks so much Jane

Amazing house in a fantastic location, perfect for groups or family.

Super comfortable beds with lovely linen and towels. Great lounge with lots of sofa space. Really well equipped kitchen with nice china etc. Lovely huge table for family meals, also good for the evening board games! Garden secure for the dogs, not huge but out the back gate are the dunes and minutes further on the beach - walks on the doorstep! Only one wrinkle which was immediately responded to by owner. Best house we've stayed in for years, we will be back!

Lovely clean and tidy property we were a family of 9 adults and 2 children and a cat who nearly escaped who cane to celebrate our parents 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary.

The property is perfect for wheelchair users and has been very well adapted. It was very spacious and nearly all bedrooms had a separate toilet. The lounge and kitchen were a decent size we all managed to sit together in the lounge playing games and eat together around the big dining table in the kitchen. There was ample space for off road parking we had 4 cars. The local pub, cafe and shop were walking distance. The beach behind the house is a 5 -10 mins walk and is lovely with local huts to buy snacks. Would definitely come here again met the owner on day of departure and she was lovely.

Fantastic large family accomodation we had everything we needed spacious very comfortable in a lovely village with just enough resources to have a quiet stay .

The safe gardens for our dogs were the extra bonus that added to our stay and openening the back gate to the dunes was a nice feature walking over to see the seals

We recently stayed for one week.

We were 7 adults, 2 children and 4 dogs. We found Beach House ideal, the gardens were secure for both dogs and children, and all facilities were clean and in good order. The icing on the cake were the dunes leading to the beach which you can access from the rear garden, which was ideal for dog walking. If you’re really lucky you may even see seals swimming just off the beach! I will really miss my daily walks here. The host has provided a very comprehensive book of information about the house and surrounding area, including takeaway leaflets etc. The Fisherman’s Return pub is just up the road, with lovely pub grub. There is a local convenience store, a post office and cafe also just up the road. Our host Jane went the extra mile when I phoned her an hour before our arrival to say we’d forgotten to bring our travel cot. Within the hour she had sourced, delivered and erected a travel cot for us, saving us the trouble of having to buy one on our way! I can’t thank her enough for that. We took lots of throws for the lounge furniture in case any of our mutts chose to jump on them. If I had any criticism at all it would be the pillows; they weren’t awful, just a bit puffy for us, but I understand why they might be better for a rental property. Recommended places to visit: Wroxham Barns, The Broads (we went to Acle), Hemsley (if you like amusement arcades), Norwich City, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

House was really lovely and great for 12 of us and 2 dogs.

Very clean and comfortable with all we needed, even buckets and spades for the kids to use. Lovely little village. Pub couple minutes walk is very nice and chippy sells good food. Definitely a great place to rent .

Beautiful property.

Very clean. Downstairs is all accessible for a wheelchair which was great for my mum. Great outdoor space. The kitchen had everything you need and was a great space to eat and play games in an evening. We had a lovely time

Just come back after a weeks long holiday with family and grandchildren + pet dog .

Beach House is like a Tardis , lots of rooms and plenty of space for us all and the children to have fun in , older children loved the games room . Fantastic location with the beach on your doorstep.The house was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped for home cooking . Can’t recommend enough Fish and chip shop (down load the app) just walk in and pick up , Poppys and Fisherman’s Retreat all excellent food . All in all a great place to stay would highly recommended Beach house to friends and family would definitely book again !

Beach House is a great property.

The location is fantastic, you can walk straight out of the back gate onto the dunes! The property is spacious, homely and comfortable. It is also a little bit Tardis-like, it feels bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. With our little granddaughter it was great to be able to shut off the upstairs so she could toddle and play to her hearts content. Fabulous place to holiday - will definitely be back!
