    “The website needs updating as the photos are not accurate to what is in the cottage.”

    There is no fire/stove, the floor covering and settees are not the same, it is very cosy but not like the website portrays. Very enjoyable stay

Wroxham 3 miles. This beautifully-presented, cosy cottage is nestled in a quiet location with its own secluded garden next to the owner's home, close to the village of Wroxham on the Norfolk Broads. Ideal for a couple or solo travellers looking for a quiet escape, but with plenty to do on the doorstep, this lovely cottage is the perfect base for exploring the Norfolk Coast and Broads. Step into this cosy, open plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting areas which are all on the ground floor. There is a lovely gas stove to take the chill off during cooler months while watching a movie, after a day out exploring. Upstairs, takes you to a double room with a small en-suite shower room, and the room is big enough for a cot, ideal for a first holiday with a new family member! Take a walk down your secluded garden to the patio, an ideal spot for a morning coffee while planning the adventures of the day! Just a few minutes from the popular waterside town of Wroxham where you can hire a boat for the day and explore the area by waterway, you will find yourself in the relaxing, beautiful Norfolk countryside. You could be miles from anywhere! With fantastic walking, cycling and nature on your doorstep and so much to do in the area you will want to return to this cosy cottage again and again. Wroxham Barns is close by and is ideal for kids and big kids alike with shopping, cafes, a fun fair and with a small farm on site there is plenty to keep everyone amused. For railway enthusiasts too, there is the Bure Valley Railway Bittern Line close by, and within a walk, the Ashmanhaugh Light Railway to visit. A short drive away is the historic city centre of Norwich, which is excellent for shopping and cultural events throughout the year. This cottage is ideal whatever the time of the year.

Wroxham is commonly known as the “Capital of the Broads” and is the main centre for boating on the Broads. It is home to a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as numerous boating emporia. Wroxham is home to a railway station with trains regularly running to Norwich or the coast, or you can spend a day on the Bure Valley Railway, a narrow gauge steam and diesel service running between the market town of Aylsham and Wroxham.
