Luckily we had excellent weather and so made good use of the outside covered patio to eat our meals. Lovely shady garden which was secluded. Not many extras included e.g. no liquid soap in bathroom or kitchen. We did speak to owner who managed to supply us with one bottle. Only one toilet roll supplied. We managed but used to more being offered. No extras for cleaning kitchen e.g. only one J cloth. No scouring pad. No dishwasher. Washing up liquid cheap and not very good. Difficult to clean pans No usual condiments supplied. We did not think to bring salt and pepper as always supplied. Nice to have flowers on table and some goodies in pack but don't think a toilet roll and washing up liquid are goodies. They are necessities. If owners want their property left clean they should provide the appropriate cleaning things.Wonder if this is a fairly new holiday let and owners following Sykes guide as other places we have stayed have always supplied more. Only basic amount of glasses. Only 2 wine glasses necessitation frequent washing up Owner seemed friendly. Never saw his partner.
Hi Alix sorry for lack of extras but these are only complimentary items to help on your arrival! As for cleaning items I thoroughly clean the cottage when guests depart, so there for I don't expect my guests to clean before they leave, there for no cleaning products left! As for a dishwasher it isn't stated on the website! We have been receiving guests for the last seven years and none of your comments have been suggested before! Therefore we will take on board your comments to improve future guests stays!
