Norbank Garden Studio

A lovely, clean, well equipped garden studio overlooking a large, well kept garden.

It is situated near to Diss with its many shops and supermarkets, close to places of interest. What more could you ask? This was our second visit and we’re already talking about a third!

Lovely property in lovely surroundings.

Very pleasant hosts. A well equipped establishment. Good location for a touring base being on the Norfolk Suffolk boarder. Excellent property

Norbank Garden Studio did not disappoint.

In a beautiful quiet setting with delightful hosts.

We had a lovely break at Norbank Garden Studio.

Cosy, comfortable, clean and all amenities carefully catered for plus hosts were friendly and accommodating. Our main visit was for location as we were visiting family in and around Diss and Thetford areas, but we were so impressed we shall be returning in the near future for leisure and sight seeing.

Amazing it's perfect for a relaxing get away.

Lovely host . I can not complain it was great.

Just home from another wonderful stay at Norbank Studio.

Such a lovely cosy accommodation set in beautiful surroundings. Thank you Ann and Terry for your warm hospitality and we are looking forward to staying with you again in the future. Best Wishes Pat and Stef.

Thank you Terry and Ann for a lovely week.

This is our second visit to Norbank garden studio. The peaceful setting, thoughtful touches and friendly greeting was just what we needed. Looking forward to seeing you again in the future. Bob & Jan Sanders

Our second time here just as good as the first time the owners were great very friendly would definitely recommend the two recliners we're just perfect after the days out so relaxing

This was our second visit and hopefully we will visit again next spring.

We had a warm welcome from Terry and Anne and some goodies. Which was very welcome. Norbank studio is in a very quiet position and just right for visiting all sorts of places of interest. We really miss the view of the garden each morning as we had our breakfast. Thank you both for a good holiday. Marian and Allen Rowles.

This is our second visit.

Ann and Terry could not make your stay more pleasant. Ideal location for exploring South Norfolk.

Norbank Studio is a lovely comfortable place to stay.

Everything there that you need within a lovely garden. This was our second holiday here and once again we had a warm welcome from the owners Anne & Terry. We will certainly return in the future.

Comfortable, clean and top quality studio.

.....everything we needed. Set in beautiful garden. We met Terry ..one of the owners..very nice man. Couldn't fault the property.

Its been a few years since our last visit and it was amazing to be back.

Ann and Terry are so lovely... Accommodation extremely clean and well maintained we had a fantastic week. Thank you again.

A great place.

Owners were very helpful and friendly. One of the best cottages we have stayed at .

We enjoyed our stay at the property and the convenience of being close to All the places we planned to visit.

Really enjoyed Bressingham Garden Centre and Railway.

A lovely, well equipped studio with beautiful views.

There was nothing else needed - everything had been provided. Very near to places of interest, shops, pubs etc. Couldst ask for more.

Thanks again toTerry & Ann for another lovely stay at Norbank Studio.

Delightful accommodation, always warm and cosy, set in beautiful surroundings. We look forward to staying with you again in the near future. Thank You. Pat & Stef

This really is a delightful holiday cottage which was more than adequalely equiped with everything you need for a lovely holiday.

All equipment was of good quality, clean and useable. We stayed in December and the heating was very efficient and the whole cottage was warm and cosy. The two electric recliner chairs were amazing and gave remarkable comfort for just sitting and relaxing or watching the TV. We would recomend this cottage to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing time away from it all. Thank you to our hosts for a lovely week in Bressingham

Terry greeted me and showed me the facilities.

The studio was a lovely comfortable place to be, A nice garden to look out on with a peaceful atmosphere, Parking was easy with plenty of good space.

Superbly equipped property.

We have stayed here twice, once in summer and most recently in winter. Both occasions we enjoyed our stay. Owners welocmegift of wine milk and biscuits was greatly appreciated. Easy access from reserved car parking space on driveway. Comfortable recliner chairs in lounge. Fully equipped kitchen. Electric radiators in rooms make this a comfortable cosy place to stay even in winter. Lovely view from patio doors onto owners extensive garden

Comfortable,warm accommodation.

Ideal location for us. Found everything we needed. Shops are just a few minutes away in Diss. Very friendly owners and a nice welcome gift. We would happily stay there again.

This was our 3rd visit to Norbank Studio and we had a wonderful time!

What a lovely relaxing week we have just had at Norbank.

Set in beautiful grounds, lovely to watch the variety of birds in the garden and the rabbits playing in the adjoining field. Very comfortable bed , the recling chairs were so nice. Clean and cosy. Very friendly hosts, would recommend this lovely studio very highly.

The studio is placed perfectly in very large grounds.

Studio and grounds maintained to a high standard,a credit to the owners.Anne and Terry were lovely, very helpful and informative and made my stay so much better. There is a local shop 12 mins walk and tesco, aldi etc 3 mile drive.Local roads very good and some charming local properties.People very friendly, even runners and cyclists would say hello.Enjoyable stay.

Norbank Studio is a great holiday home.

It's our second stay there and it has all you could possibly want! The owners Ann and Terry are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We love it there and hope to revisit in the future. We highly recommend this property!

Lovely warm welcome on arrival, studio brilliant ,this is our 3rd visit wonderful location, lots of places to visit or just relax in the garden , highly recommend, we will be back

we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Norbank.

Nicely situated to visit lots of interesting places. Terry and Anne very welcoming and helped us to carry our luggage to our accommodation. Which wasn't far. A few yards. We would warmly recommend this holiday let and we will look forward to staying there again if and when able.

Ann and Terry are lovely hosts, welcoming and friendly yet discreet.

The Garden Studio is nicely furnished, with a great view overlooking the beautifully tended garden. We have enjoyed our stay in this cosy and comfortable accommodation, and will return for sure. Thanks for all the extras, and special thanks to Terry for the home-grown vegetables.

This is our second visit and it was as great as first ,warm welcome, wonderful garden we are returning in September highly recommend ,lovely studio ,

Terry and Anne were great hosts, very welcoming.

Norbank studio was perfect for our needs. Felt very relaxed and comfortable, couldn’t want for more. Perfect.

Norbank was the first Studio we had ever stayed in.

What an absolute gem! Everything was perfect. From the greeting from the owners until we had to sadly leave. The Studio inside had everything you could wish for a fabulous week. The grounds were beautifully tended. Fruit trees. Huge well tended lawn. P.Y.O fruit and vegetables thanks to the kindness of the Owners. Totally recommended for couples who enjoy peace, quiet and comfort.

We were looking for a quiet relaxing break after a period of a heavy work schedule and prolonged ill health.

Our thanks goes to Ann and Terry for providing such a wonderful place. Comfortably appointed internally, views out to the gardens from the lounge/kitchen, comfortable bed, outstanding en-suite. Convenient location for most of North Norfolk plus the bonus of Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum 3-5 minutes walk away. The Norbank Studio is a must try, so much so, we're going back in November.

The property is exactly what we wished for, it was cosy, clean, comfortable, warm with a great outlook of an orchard with lovely spring blossom.

Thankyou for a great holiday in such lovely surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and informative about the surrounding area and places to visit.

The property was warm, cosy and comfortable.

Great location, ideal peaceful getaway. Lovely hosts. What more could you want!

We stayed over xmas for almost a week for relaxation and walking, it was cold out but lovely and warm in the property and clean and tidy.

Good kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Great electric reclining arm chairs. Good size TV. Treats left for us as well as milk etc. Even though the studio is in the owners large garden, it is very private, the patio doors look out onto the garden. Lots of walks around Diss and surrounding areas. Couldn’t fault the property. Thanks.

What a fantastic retreat.

Very handy for all of the surrounding towns, villages and attractions of the area; yet tucked away from everything to be a little haven of peace. The studio itself is fantastic. We went during October and found it lovely and warm, and very cosy for the cold evenings. It has everything you need for a stay.

Lovely place to stay, clean and comfortable.

Ann & Terry very welcoming. Beautiful garden.

We had a lovely week in the Norbank studio.

Ideal for two. Lovely Outlook from the French doors. Anne & Terry were very welcoming from the cream tea waiting in the fridge to the salad & veg from Terry's garden. Great week of cycling in wonderful weather. Steam museum & Gardens just round the corner. Super!

A really relaxing studio cottage in the Norfolk country side, Both Terry & Anne were really welcoming and great hosts.

We have recently returned from yet another wonderful stay at Norbank Studio.

Such a charming property, set in beautiful surroundings. Thanks to Anne and Terry for their warm hospitality and we hope to see you in the near future. Kind Regards Pat and Stefan

Bed was not the most comfortable we have had but on the other hand the recliner chairs in the living room were excellent.

Really enjoyed the two weeks.

I loved my stay and couldn’t fault the owners attentive nature and help throughout my stay.

Thank you.

A thoroughly enjoyable relaxing stay in a lovely setting.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped & maintained accommodation. Lovely hosts, helpful, friendly and there if you needed anything, but at the same time unobtrusive. Recommended without hesitation; hope to stay there again next year.

Great location, and friendly owners.

Perfect!

The studio was really lovely, light and airy and very comfortable with parking moment from the door.

We had everything we needed. The gardens were beautiful, and we even saw a little deer run across the lawn. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful but never intrusive. We hope to be back again before very long to experience the peace and quiet that is Norbank studio.

We really enjoyed our stay it was very comfortable

a perfect peaceful relaxing little hideaway thank you Ann & Terry Sue 6/01 to 12/01 2023 x

We have personally thanked Ann and Terry but we couldn't have wished for better.

We arrived for xmas and the new year. A lovely xmas welcome package including a xmas tree. And on NYE a surprise visit from Terry with a beautiful bottle of wine and patty poppers for us to see the new year in. Cabin was perfect in all ways. Thank you.

Ideal cottage for 2 in a great location for visiting both Norfolk and Suffolk.

Very well maintained property equipped with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The owners are a lovely couple who are on hand if needed but give you all the privacy and peace and quiet that the property is perfect for. A lovely rural setting with pubs and major supermarkets 5 mins from the door and plenty of great places to visit within easy reach. We will be returning, many thanks.

Norbank Studios are located in a beautiful serene location within easy reach of several coastal towns.

The accommodation was clean, cosy, and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. All in all we would highly recommend this property.

This is a lovely holiday place, set in extensive grounds in the owners garden but far enough away to be private.

The hosts Ann and Terry are lovely and are on hand if you need them. Ideal for a single person or a couple, it is very comfortable with a patio, garden furniture and a laundry attached to the back of the building. There is a large pond with ducks and a regular visit from a green woodpecker. We would not hesitate to return. We loved it.

Ann was really helpful prior to our arrival.

We bumped into Terry whilst unloading the car and was presented with some home grown courgettes and a medley of delicious tomatoes. Added to which Ann had left us a scrumptious cream tea. A nice garden with ample room to relax, we were entertained by the ducks and even a woodpecker. Well equipped and spotlessly clean accommodation.

We had a really fantastic week at Norbank studio.

The setting in the beautiful garden was perfect. Terry & Ann were the perfect hosts. We mentioned to them it was my wife’s birthday and they brought a card & bottle of wine! That’s how kind and friendly they were. Terry also gave us fresh produce from his vegetable patch. Don’t hesitate to book here, you certainly won’t be disappointed!!

Such a beautiful property in a lovely setting.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's perfect for two people. Very relaxing. It's very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean. The cream tea and milk on arrival was very much appreciated as was the fresh produce from the owners garden. The deer and ducks in the huge garden kept us entertained. It's an ideal base to explore Norfolk and Suffolk. Bressingham Steam Museum is just across the road with a restaurant and garden centre next door. Thank you Terry and Ann for a lovely stay .

Lovely place would recommend as very clean, everything there you would need, beautiful garden for sitting watching the wildlife, we even had a deer come in eating apples that had fallen from tree.

Ann & Terry made you welcome and left you alone unless you needed anything, big thank you goes out to them. We will be back

Very comfortable studio accommodation in a beautiful garden and location.

Terry and Anne are very friendly. All in all we felt welcome and very much at home

Excellent holiday let, clean and comfortable with everything you would need to enjoy your stay.

Lovely garden to enjoy from the patio area.

We had a lovely week in the perfect setting.

The studio was exactly what we wanted, comfortable and super clean in a lovely big garden with countryside views. Ann and Terry were so nice and did everything to make us so welcome including scrummy biscuits. It felt like a home from home. Thank you very much !

A Lovely holiday, very welcoming, relaxing week

A relaxing retreat, what gem found on your website.

Excellent holiday studio for two or solo. A warm welcome. Spent very peaceful time, lovely central position not far from all the amenities Norfolk has to offer. Wonderful garden to watch the wildlife! Good garden centre beside steam railway just along the main road great for coffee and home cooked food as well as plants and shopping! Very relaxing

We had a wonderful week in the Studio.

On arrival we were made very welcome which included a card, lovely refreshments and biscuits, an immaculately clean Studio with every facility for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The gardens were private and beautifully kept for us to appreciate whilst sitting on the patio and looking out at whilst indoors on the settee. Parking was easy and with a reserved place near the Studio. We appreciated all that Terry and Ann had done to make our stay just perfect.

The studio was comfortable, clean and welcoming.

Just right for one due to bedroom storage being small but understandable as the accommodation is just a studio so you would expect the storage to reflect this. Felt very comfortable throughout the stay and the owners had made sure everything was clean and covid compliant so certainly felt safe staying there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our December stay in the Garden Studio which, on top of being well equipped and spotlessly clean, was a lovely warm refuge from the colder than normal weather we "enjoyed".

We found it's location ideal and made easy work of visiting Diss and Thetford, Southwold, Stowmarket and Norwich with Attleborough and Wymondham en route. All delightful in their own way with typical Norfolk / Suffolk charm that never goes away..... Hosts Ann and Terry were most helpful to us and we give them our warmest thanks for their help. Most happy to recommend.

What a lovely holiday place to stay.

Great outlook onto a large garden & fields. Very relaxing & peaceful. Village shop was handy. Can't wait to go back! Cream tea in fridge on arrival was fab.

This was our second visit to Norbank and we will definitely return.

The studio is very clean and well equipped for two people and is set in the owner's lovely large garden. Terry and Ann are friendly and helpful, we had a supply of delicious veg from their garden. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the tranquililty.

We loved our stay at Norbank Garden Studio.

The accommodation is perfect for 2 and is set in the owner's beautiful garden, very peaceful and relaxing. At night we enjoyed looking at the stars as there is no light pollution. Bressingham Steam Gardens is down the road and we really enjoyed our visit and even popped back for lunch in the middle of our day! The Studio is more inland but that did not stop us from travelling, we went to Sutton Hoo, Gressenhall Workhouse, had a trip on the North Norfolk Railway and a steamer on the Broads. The owners really made us feel welcome and Terry kindly gave us some beautiful vegetables out of his garden. Don't hesitate to book its just the sort of place to relax and unwind.

Second visit and won’t be the last.

Lovely studio, well equipped and comfortable. Great garden. Exceptional hosts. Close to shops/restaurants, and the lovely Bressingham Gardens Plenty of places of interest within easy reach.

Just being able to relax and chill in lovely surroundings, with really nice down to earth owners.

Thanks to Ann and Terry.

Lovely and clean, fresh smelling, airy, bright and with a beautiful outlook onto the huge garden at the back.

All the facilities that are needed are there and Ann and Terry are always available for any help if required. Located centrally to visit Norfolk and it's surrounding areas and we were blessed with beautiful sunny warm days. Just a pity that the Covid situation continues to keep many visitor attractions closed at the moment.

we thought it was an excellent base to visit Norfolk.

The hosts were very welcoming and amenable. They went out of their way to help us. The studio was spotless and very comfortable. Well done. Would definately recommend.

A friendly welcome, very well-appointed accommodation and spotlessly clean.

An excellent, relaxing, short-break.

Ann & Terry have the perfect balance between ensuring privacy and providing support if required.

The studio was brilliant and the setting was superb, we would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

It was the cleanest accommodation I've ever stayed in!

Although it was built within the last 5 years by the owner, he has already started redecorating the outside again. The bed was firm and extremely comfortable. Just the right size for two people, and very central to everything we wanted to see ... Cromer, Southwold & The Broads, of course.

This property is very comfortable, cosy, well equipped and very clean.

The studio has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped with good quality items. The garden is lovely and we look forward to returning in better weather to take advantage of it. The owners are friendly, very helpful and immediately respond to any query. There is plenty of interest in the immediate area, and there are supermarkets and restaurants within 10minutes drive.

Fab week very welcoming, clean and felt very safe during these strange times.

Excellent value for money. Would definitely book again.

Second holiday here two years apart.

Still spotlessly clean, a lovely location with owners who care. We will be booking again x

The accommodation was great, there was everything there to make our holiday perfect.

Ann and Terry went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.Thank you.

The accommodation was very clean, smart and well-equipped.

It is well laid out with a decent amount of room for one or two people, and has a pleasant outlook. The hosts are friendly and helpful. I would happily visit again and would recommend the property to others.

Fabulous garden studio.

Very well appointed, everything you need. Lovely touch with some welcome valentines chocolates and fizz Lovely peaceful grounds Comfortable bed. Owners very friendly. Property is within touching distance of Bressingham Steam Museum (sadly closed at the weekend because of storm Dennis). We ate at The White Hart Inn at Roydon and had a great meal. Overall a wonderful mini break and I can imagine the studio is even more perfect in the summer. We’d love to visit again.

Great little place, well equipped, comfortable and convenient.

I stayed here whilst moving home.

The accomodation was excellent with living room, bedroom and bathroom, all of which were spotless. There were also facilities for laundry. The rooms are separate from the main house and the owners are both friendly and helpful but are happy to leave guests alone if they want privacy. Due to its location in large gardens it gives a feeling of independence. So for anyone looking for peaceful accommodation of a high standard close to Diss and the beautiful Waveney Valley, this is ideal.

Terry and Anne the owners gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived.

The area is a lovely place waking up in the morning looking out of the patio doors down a lovely garden onto open views of the country side will be going back that's for sure.

We booked the studio as a bolt hole for house hunting and it served us well.

The kitchen is very well equipped. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. WiFi and TV excellent. The views from kitchen window and patio doors are just wonderful. The owners also proved a tray with scones and clotted cream on our arrival - very nice touch.

We were able to book this cottage within two weeks of staying ( for 3 nights ) which was good for us as we had to attend a family funeral in Risby.

We were met by Terry on arrival who was welcoming and showed us to the cottage. There was a tray set out on the table with teapot, two china cups and plates and two scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream with a pint of milk in the fridge It is a lovely cottage with comfortable seating area, a dining table for two and a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge ( with freezer compartment large enough for a loaf and perhaps another couple of small items ). There is a large TV, DVD player and electric stove. The bedroom is comfortable with drawers and just a hanging rail for clothes. The bathroom had a large shower cubicle etc. and the whole cottage is decorated very well. The view across the garden is lovely. We enjoyed our stay even though it was under difficult circumstances for us. The only things I would suggest would be provision of some kitchen roll ( I had brought some with me ) and some way of drying bathroom towels - do not know if a towel radiator would be an option ? There is a shared utility room with washer, dryer, ironing board/iron which we did not use but would be a great facility for a longer stay - as would a freezer. Anne was very friendly and sympathetic to our situation and it was a pleasure chatting to her. We are grateful for having a place to stay which was so homely - thanks. ( Directions said turn onto School Road but was actually Low Lane ? )

A wonderful week at north bank .

I was greeted by to lovely hosts who made you very welcome. And there were also a lot of personal touches .i would recommend to anyone many thanks

Norbank Garden Studio is a wonderful little gem of peacefulness.

. it was well equipped comfy and clean..and the lovely people who own it Anne and Terry nothing was too much trouble..from the yummy welcoming cream tea to the fresh veggies straight from the garden..would definitely make a return visit in the future and would highly recommend to anyone

This is our second stay at the garden studio at Norbank.

We have loved our stay here both times and intend to return. Its set in a lovely big garden so peaceful and relaxing. Ann and Terry are perfect hosts there if needed nothings too much trouble otherwise leave you too it. The studio is always spotless with everything you need for home from home. Great base for Norfolk and Suffolk sightseeing or a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. Highly recommend a great place for a holiday.

Lovely setting, very helpful owners, sad to leave, would definatly be back, and recommend to others.

excellent!

No an excellent cottage.

Very warm welcome from Terry & Ann Betts, a welcome Cream tea was provided.

Left to our our devises but knew that both Terry and Ann were available if needed. Situation of property was perfect for getting to different areas of Norfolk and Suffolk. Lovely Garden views so totally relaxing. Very comfortable bed and excellent Wi-fi. Everything needed for a perfect holiday would thoroughly recommend it.

Nice accommodation in a lovely area.

This cottage was small but perfectly formed.

The heaters provided kept us really cosy. The bed was very comfortable. This is not always the case - I have arthritis and a good night's sleep is always appreciated. The shower was nice and easy to use and the area was very pleasant. Our hosts were nice, friendly but unobtrusive folk. There was easy parking and a very nice garden.

Brilliant accommodation just perfect for our needs.

Well equipped throughout and owners really nice and helpful.

Norbank garden studio is a beautiful place to stay.

Very comfortable and clean. Ann and Terry are brilliant hosts they make you feel very welcome. We plan to return next year.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE LOVELY PEOPLE ABSOLUTLY SUPERB

thoroughly enjoyed this holiday, the studio was immaculate,as was it's surroundings ,very pleasant outlook.

Our hosts were lovely and friendly nothing was any bother ,we even came home with a tub of freshly picked potatoes, can't say fairer than that!would strongly recommend this lovely studio to anyone.thank you.

Very hard to look the door!

We found this wooden built garden studio to be perfect for our week's stay, clean and well equipped.

The owner greeted us on arrival, there were scones, cream and jam too with cucumber and tomatoes from their vegetable plot being left outside our door one day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this garden studio or the other converted building next to but detached from the main house, we have stayed in both.

There was a welcome tray which was lovely.

We picked this place as it was near to Thretford forest as my husband went to do bike trails at Thretford forest lodge, this was quite expensive if you were there all day, but great for a family day at £12.50. For bike riding be early 7.45 open of gates out before 11am charge £3.00 in that time two trails can be ridden. Diss is a lovely little town with three supermarkets! Boat trip on the fens was lovely £19.00 for two adults trip lasted 1.5 hrs at Wroxham, again need to be early for the 10.30 trip when we got back the car park was full and people unable to park. Thorpe abbots 100th bombardment memorial museum was amazing, run by volunteers, open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, with a cafe, so much to see if your interested in ww2. Free entry. However, due to the intensity of the weather 35 Deg. most days this week we were not able to walk as much as we had wanted.

Second visit to Bressingham have stayed in both norbank properties and would recommend them highly which we have.

Beautiful peaceful place ideal for sightseeing Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge. Ann and Terry warm friendly people who make you feel very welcome. We have already booked for next year. Nothing negative to say about either properties very clean with everything you need home from home on a smaller scale. If your thinking of booking go for it you wont be diappointed

This is the second year we have booked Norbank Garden Studio and our experience was just as pleasant as before.

The facilities provided were more than adequate with the hosts Terry & Ann providing a friendly, personable and relaxing stay. As mentioned in a previous review, some sort of shade from the sun would benefit the west facing Garden Studio immensely but not having this did not in anyway dampen our enjoyment. Thank you, once again Terry for sharing your garden produce with us it was very much appreciated. We were also fascinated to see each day the developing relationship of a Muntjac deer and the owners cat in the garden. Hope it doesn’t end in tears! Looking forward to returning very soon.

We had a really comfortable and relaxing week.

As it was so hot and sunny we could have done with a sun umbrella over the patio table. The only other comment would be to have towel rails in the shower room. Other than these comments we were really happy with The Studio. Owners were delightful.

We had a lovely time at the studio.

Very quiet and peaceful and it has everything you need for your stay. There is lots to see and do not too far away.Grimes graves was my favourite and Bury St Edmonds is lovely.Norwich is great if you like shopping but we went for the cathedral and history.Best to use park and ride as it gets busy

We really enjoyed our stay at Norbank studio cottage.

Very warm welcome from Terry and Anne. The cream tea awaiting on arrival was a nice surprise. We also enjoyed watching all the wild life in the garden we even saw a couple of Muntjac deer one evening. The cottage was vey comfortable, clean and well appointed.

In my opinion this very clean studio was more suited to summer or warmer weather as it had only 2 small oil filled electric heaters.

Unfortunate for me the weather was minus 5 with heavy frost and even snow on one day. Also the owner Terry was kind enough to come and tell me the electric would be off for a couple of hours on Wednesday 7th due to some overhead power cables that needed working on. Not ideal when everything in the studio was running on electric. I also found it quite difficult to sleep as I could hear the noise of the traffic on the very busy A1066 which was only a short distance from the studio. I decided to come home a day early due to these reasons. The studio was exceptionally clean and fresh with Terry the owner being very helpful.

The cottage was very clean and very comfortable.

Terry and Anne were extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay a wonderful way to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary! Thank you for a lovely break away.

The hosts are extremely friendly and make guests feel very welcome.

What made this holiday experience unique was the friendliness and generosity of the owners Terry & Anne Betts.

They were most welcoming without being intrusive. The accommodation we felt was second to none and met or exceeded all our expectations.
