Situated on the owner's grounds in the idyillic countryside of Great Moulton, Norfolk lies Hunters Cottage Lodge, a traditional, single-storey annex ideal for a relaxing break.
Perfect for couples, the annex offers all the home comforts needed for a peaceful getaway at any time of year.
On arrival at the annex, step inside to a compact but well-equipped open-plan living space, home to a kitchen where you can rustle up a hearty breakfast ahead of a busy day out.
Here, you will also find a dining area so you can plan your adventures over dinner, and a sitting area to relax and unwind in to watch TV on your return.
Moving through the property, a sleek shower room serves you, home to a walk-in shower and a toasty heated towel rail to warm your towels in the chillier months.
A large built in wardrobe cupboard provides ample hanging space and additional chest of drawers for clothes and suitcase storage.
Completing the interior is a bedroom hosting a plush double, perfect for getting some rest before another action-packed day.
Outside, the enclosed, private lawned garden provides a lovely space for your four-legged friend to stretch their legs while you enjoy the crisp morning air.
For days out while staying at Hunters Lodge, spend the day the at nearby Banham Zoo which is home an array of exotic animals and an animal-lovers paradise.
Railway enthusiasts can spend an afternoon at Bressingham Steam and Gardens; here, you can jump on the outdoor steam railway which take you around acres of picture-perfect gardens and woodland.
For a spot of history, venture out to Framlingham Castle a tremendous 12th century castle with a rich and diverse past of royalty and the revolt of 1173–1174. Further afield, is the charming city of Norwich, which boasts its grand and imposing Norwich Cathedral, an architectural staple in the city's scenery.
The city also hosts the historic, Norwich Castle, now a museum, the castle offers a number fascinating exhibitions where you can learn about the ancient history of the area.
You will not be left short for shops, pubs and restaurants in the city; enjoy a delicious meal at one of many eateries after wandering the quaint Elm Hill, a historical cobbled street which has been popular among visitors for its endearing character.

Hunter's Lodge is delightful.
We felt right at home straight away, Tracey and Andrew are superb hosts who welcomed us as soon as we arrived and left a lovely home made hamper of goodies for us. The Lodge is in a super spot, very rural yet very close to lots of great tourist attractions, we were out every day! The local pub is as very short walk and we also felt very welcome there, no hint of "out of towners" attitude. The staff and food were both excellent. The Lodge was spotless, the walk in shower room a real treat and we had everything we needed provided for us. We are already looking for other places to visit on another trip to the Lodge, we enjoyed our stay so much.
A lovely lodge.
One of the best we've visited. Very well laid out and well presented. The local pub is only a short walk away and serves great food. Tracey was both a welcoming & helpful host and the welcoming pack of bread, milk, eggs & cake wit marmalade & butter were a lovely touch.

Tracey and Andrew were the perfect hosts.
Tracey even very kindly prepared a gluten free welcome pack for me, which was lovely and thoughtful as I have always missed out on that before. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. It has a lovely garden which would be lovely to sit out in during the warmer months. Looking forward to returning again. There is also the Fox and Hounds pub just 2 minutes walk down the road, serving lovely food. Would highly recommend Hunters Lodge.

The welcome pack was much appreciated. Spacious kitchen and very comfortable lounge, bedroom and bathroom all exceptional. The property was spotless and very well equipped. The garden was lovely to sit in and relax. Two minutes walk to the Fox and Hound’s, meals were excellent. Highly recommend Hunter’s Lodge for a very relaxing holiday. Will definitely go back there.

Excellent accommodation location ideal as a hub to travel to any areas you wish to see.
Fabulous pub within walking distance to have a lovely meal. Cannot praise the hosts Tracey and Andrew enough they certainly make you welcome and they will do anything they can to make your stay as welcome and comfortable as possible. They went above and beyond to help us while we were there. Would not hesitate to book this stay again if in the area and would be the first place we would recommend to other people.

We had the most fantastic stay Tracey and Andrew were superb and there was a lovely welcoming pack of Milk,eggs,cakes,homemade bread and marmalade etc the cottage was impeccable and very warm and cosy the added bonus was the 200 yard walk to the fox&hounds pub which is a must for a drink and food.

We had a lovely quiet week.
Nothing was too much trouble for Tracey and Andrew. Property was warm and cosy. Wasn't quite warm enough to sit in the garden being only the middle of March. Appreciated the vast amount of local information particularly re places to eat. Although nothing to do with the property, the local pub, the Fox and Hounds was equally welcoming

Perfect for my stay visiting local friends and ex colleagues/neighbours.
Comfortable, warm and cosy. A small annex but big enough for two people and a dog. The outside space is secure for latter. Wonderful unobtrusive welcome from the owners who left a lovely welcome pack. Thank you! The local pub very friendly - if you want to eat in the bar you need to say so otherwise you will be located in a pod at the rear. Fine for a group and warm but a little lonely for one or two! The Old Ram at Tivetshall great for food and dog friendly. The co-op in nearby Long Stratton sells everything. You will need a car. We would stay again.

Hunters Lodge is first class.
It is in a lovely area and within easy reach of plenty of places to visit. Very clean, comfortable and a small garden to relax in which is very welcome. The local pub is a 3 minute walk away and the food is excellent. Tracey and Andrew made us very welcome and the goodies were much appreciated. We would certainly recommend Hunters Lodge for a peaceful holiday. George

Had a really enjoyable week.
The hosts were a lovely couple and gave us a great welcome pack of homemade produce. The property was small but adequate for the two of us and our medium sized pooch. All in all a delightful place.

This lodge provides excellent accommodation for two.
The space is small but has been thoughtfully organised and the lodge is very well equipped. Good quality towels and bed linen provided. Welcome tray with some homemade produce was much appreciated. Because of space constraints clothes storage is within the shower room inside a cupboard housing the heating system. This area became incredibly hot whilst the system was active. It was not the ideal arrangement for us but we did think it was very inventive.

The welcome pack was a lovely touch (especially the eggs. All double yolkers). There was everything you need for a relaxing stay. Which was just what I needed. The garden was perfect for a little bird watching as I had hung a couple of bird feeders. Hope you are both feeling better now. Will definitely come back someday.

Had a fantastic week here at hunters cottage this cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay the owners Tracey and Andrew are very welcoming they left us a lovely welcome pack home made scones bread marmalade as well as butter eggs and milk ,the amount of information they provide is second to none a huge folder full of where to go/ dog friendly pubs/ where to eat takeaways ect There was maps /books you could borrow for a day out, the bed was so comfortable as was the sofa and kitchen really well equipped, Tracey emailed and asked me the day before our arrival if we would like some Christmas decs put up which was a lovely touch as was December this made it really cozy we had a great stay

Hunters Lodge has everything you need for a lovely holiday .
The owners are very friendly but not intrusive and left a lovely welcome pack ,home baked bread with some scrummy chocolate brownies + other items. The Lodge was very clean and the shower room is excellent especially anyone with mobility issues. Would definitely recommend this property to family and friends .

It was absolutely perfect for our purpose thank you which was to attend a wedding, but would be a good base for other beaks too.
Comfortable, clean and good facilities with a small enclosed garden too and near a nice pub serving food ( just a few yards walk). Welcoming of our dog too. Owner was pleased to support us in any way she could.

Perfect location and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
The welcome pack was the best we have had - and we’ve had a few! Everything was on point and considering the lodge is a fairly new project there was everything available and more. We had an extremely relaxing four days and have recharged our batteries. Bella (dog) enjoyed her stay too

Hunter's Lodge is delightful, immaculately clean, very comfortable and well equiped with the benefit of good parking and a secure side garden which was ideal for our little pug dog.
The hosts, Andrew and Tracey, were very friendly and welcoming and had gone to the effort of providing a gluten free welcome basket as I'm coeliac. It is also very well situated from which to explore the Broads and Suffolk. EE mobile phone and internet coverage was perfect and there is an excellent pub just two minutes walk away which has an very good menu and serves a fantastic cooked breakfast at the weekends - what more could you want! A really lovely, relaxing break - thank you.

Hunter's Lodge is a place of peace and quiet - the only sound is the delightful sound of birdsong!
The village of Great Moulton is surrounded by countryside and perfect for walking. The village pub (Fox and Hounds) serves excellent food.

Best information pack we have seen, including maps, places to visit etc. Comfortable accommodation with everything we needed and more in a delightful setting. The welcome pack was an added bonus, especially the chocolate cake and dog biscuits! Friendly village with excellent food at local pub just 2 minutes walk away. We had the restful and tranquil getaway we had hoped for.

Hunter’s Lodge is a bijou annexe to the owner’s house set aside the large driveway.
Our first impressions were of how compact it is yet myself, my partner and our cat spent 3 comfortable week’s over Christmas in privacy. Everything we needed was provided and the annexe was spotlessly clean. The owner’s, Tracey and Andrew were the perfect hosts. They are friendly, approachable and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were house hunting and their offers of help from loaning us boxes, pointing us in the right direction and forwarding our mail was greatly appreciated. Set in a quiet village with a great pub and a good menu within walking distance, it isn’t far to drive to local shops or into Norwich City for the shopping experience. Goodie’s is a super farm shop with fantastic restaurant within a short driving distance. There are plenty walking areas and small historical towns such as Diss and Harleston to explore all with good cafe’s, restaurants and interesting smaller shops. Summing up, We would certainly stay at Hunter’s Lodge again, and wish Tracey and Andrew well in their future.

very good location for all major towns, rural location quite lanes, good dog walking area, local pub very good food and atmosphere.
The nearest town has a supermarket, petrol station all you need a couple of miles away. We will return some time later

Lovely cottage with great pub down the road.
Andrew & Tracey were so helpful during our stay & we were spoiled with lots of treats on arrival including bread, jam & eggs. There was even a jar of dog biscuits for Rosie! The cottage was spotlessly clean & very well equipped. There was a great info pack which helped us plan our days easily. The small fenced garden to sit in after a long day out was lovely too. We would highly recommend a stay here & will surely stay again when back in this lovely county.

great little spot to explore norfolk , couldnt fault the place or the people who ran it , nothing was to much trouble really enjoyed the cottage , nice pub plenty to do and see keep up the good work regards steve / nicky

Tracey and Andrew provided an excellent welcome pack that contained not only the essentials but some real extra treats. The guest information file was first class. Some good local dog walks and a great pub just two minutes down the road. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
